the patriots? seriously? it's not 2004 anymore, buddy. it's 2012. they're still a good team, but they're not what they used to be.
and i have no idea and i don't really know that i care just yet. all of my personal favorites have either pissed me off or they just plain suck. i think it'd be nice if peyton could at least make it to the super bowl, but only to show up the colts a bit even though i don't really hate them for picking up luck. i mean at least they made a clean break instead of going the favre/packers route. still, i'm not exactly psyched on them.
also, i don't really think the colts have a chance. luck has been pretty good, but they have an easy schedule this year and some of the teams luck had his super, awesome comebacks against weren't really all that good. i mean, he came back against the lions. whoopty shit. who the fuck hasn't? otto graham's reanimated corpse could do that. the lions couldn't keep a lead to save their lives.
beyond all that i don't really care as long as the steelers and the pats don't make it or they do only to get their asses handed to them. that would be fun.
or maybe the packers. i'm still pissed at them for pulling that "rest the important players so they'll be fresh for the playoffs" horseshit that fucking never works. they too deserve another nice, humbling loss in the playoffs even if they don't do it again. if they do i hope shorty breaks his wrist. well, maybe a finger. nothing too bad.

I'll admidt they are the team that Pats have to worry about. In a 2-3 the Pats would win but the Giants seem to get a break.
Pats outplayed them in both SBs but that the nature of Football
but the long suffering Boston fans deserve another title.
