To the left you have the exercise of the Freedom Of Religion, to the bottom you have the Freedom of Speech and the duty to question your government and criticise it.

Patriotism != Jingoism.

Go for it... Eventually it'll come down.

I actually got it when I was mailed by Epitaph records.

God Bless the U.S.A - Lee Greenwood

God Bless the U.S.A.
by Lee Greenwood
If tomorrow all the things were gone
I'd worked for all my life,
And I had to start again
with just my children and my wife,
I'd thank my lucky stars
to be living here today,
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom
and they can't take that away.
I'm proud to be an American
where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota
to the hills of Tennessee,
Across the plains of Texas
from sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston
and New York to L.A.,
There's pride in every American heart
and it's time we stand and say:
I'm proud to be an American
where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land

I'd die to defend my country.
I've put my life on the line to do just that.
I want my children to know how great it is to be a citizen of the United States of America.

God Bless USA.

You can disagree, I applaud you.
Speak your piece.
That is what people died for.

I sometimes wonder if any American really believes in this somewhat fascist idealized version of the United States, a country wherein apartheid only ended less than 40 years ago? Of course even if one believes this sappy shit, it's no excuse to invade Iraq. Iraq is no threat to the U.S. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. All of the money and most of the alleged 9/11 terrorists came from Saudi Arabia. This war is about Oil and a Judeo-Christian pogrom against the entire Islamic world ... except those non-constitutional monarchies who line the Bu$h family's pockets.

Of course we Americans, as is human nature, tend to forget how many non-Americans we killed for our freedoms :D I am grateful however, and anyone who isn't could be ignorant. It's better to be the evil asshole with perks than the evil asshole without :D

Let's not forget training Al Queda and supporting the cause to force a Nation to loose it's freedom to do anything!

Al Queda is almost entirely a creation of these United States. They got their start fighting the Russians in Afghanistan with American money given to ... you guessed it ... Osama Bin Laden. Furthermore, so is Saddam Hussein.

This is why I have a problem with the America love it or leave it types. They rarely have bothered to devote any time to learning about that which they run off at the mouth about.

Oh and I suppose that when Oliver North wanted to get rid of Osama and Saddam, he was fearful of them in the 80's that it didn't count for shit then huh?

Read up more on YOU'RE history, buddy!

I suppose you're referring to this.

snicker

Hehe DG, I don't have links to back it up, so I could be talking about my bum, but as I remember Al-Queda was started by the CIA, the organization once run by George Bush Sr. hehe :D

That statement is meaningless. They still received money training and weapons from the United States! As a matter of fact they received millions from the sitting President's dad and dear old uncle Ronny.
