Police in Alabama say two men are in custody after what they described as an apparent road rage shooting over traffic outside a Montgomery elementary school.
I have a deep understanding of the purpose and proper use of a firearm. Although I strongly support the Second Amendment, I think those that demonstrate a depraved lack of respect for firearms should forfeit their right to possess and use one. When I took my pistol class, I was appalled at the mind set of many of my fellow classmates. It was very depressing. The instructor was EXCELLENT, but the students were frightening. One of the students DID feel that road rage was an acceptable time to use a firearm. It was crazy. I actually never followed through because I got so damned depressed. The class was held at a gun shop, and the instructor recommended pistols that were appropriate for new shooters to develop their proficiency. These yahoos wanted the Dirty Harry hand cannons. The instructor was, like, no, you do NOT start with that.
