I'm not a religious person, but I think that there are moral characteritics that should exist in all of us. We all make mistakes and even though some may be more powerful than others, they need as much tolerance as any minor infraction. I don't feel that ripping someone's esteem to shreds is the answer.

It is counter productive to demand that we all behave and do right, without giving room for infirmity to relenquish itself to what has been learned.

It is your decision, but I for one forgive Sateema's trespasses on my trust because she is sorry for hurting anyone, especially those she is closest too.

I hope they love her enough to forgive her.

Personally, I think those stories are really Sateema's. The autobiography explains a lot.

It is insidiously easy to spring to the attack on the internet, trusting the safety of our isolation to embolden us to act before we really think a situation through. It's good to keep one's guard up, and practice a more forgiving manner than we'd expect ourselves - good, but difficult.

I suppose some like feeling superior for pointing out the weakness or mistakes, but that seems a false path to happiness - here at lit, or in that amusing construct I refer to as "The Real World."

I'm pretty self absorbed so I've only been marginally paying attention to whats going on.

I'm sorry that this happened the way it happened. Personally the actions of the other party have proved them to be rather petty. As big as this place is...it's not really that big. No money was made nor was commerce intended and a photgraphers work got some praise and a sweet girl who wanted to feel pretty is probably not right now.
