I have a password cheat sheet that is hidden and secure. If for some reason, I cannot remember a password I can go and consult my cheat sheet.

Of course, this is only for important passwords (bank accts, alarms, etc) and not for each and every little thing.

I have 3 passwords that I use.

1) its a 4 digit number only one for atm and such type stuff
2) 8 digit letter and numbers combo for very important stuff
3) A 5 letter base password that I use as a building block for all other passwords and I just add other stuff to it to change it up, its a latin word which removes it from most linguistics libraries that I've seen in password hacking programs. Until now since I just shared my secret...but oh well...at least 4 years of latin in high school gives me some benefit.

I have one main password that i use for most things. It has 8 characters. I have a separate 4 character usual password with a single digit that can be added if 5 characters are needed.

There are a couple of things that have different passwords and i keep those written down.
