By nature I have always been a very passionate person. I am passionate about life in general, my child, love, friends and family. I consider myself a passion driven person. It's simply a part of me always. Fantasy fuels passion too!

OK, OK, you've got me . . . I'm an ambitious person. I have a zeal for learning, a zeal for world affairs, a zeal for writing, a zeal for dogs . . . a lot of people I know go through the motions, mostly from fear.

You know the old proverb - 'dance like nobody's watching',etc.? That would be my philosophy.

It has to be cultivated within me. I'm not by nature passionate about things. But I can be very passionate about the right person.

I think that maybe I used to confuse passion with obsession sometimes. Now that I think I have learned the difference, passion to me is a sort of internal inferno that rages when I find something (or someone) that can ignite it. It seems that only things I know in my heart are good and worthwhile can ignite it.

I don't know if you're born with it or if you develop it. I'm very passionate about being a mom - but obviously not every mom is? I'm very passionate about anti-war/non-violence. But I can get pretty passionate about a great lasagna too! I think life would be so borning if you didn't have passion for SOMETHING! I liked what Chained said about the Cardinal - yeah - I've seen them do that too.
