sometimes one wishes they could behave a bit more like grown ups... mine are going to court this month, over the house and all that. and it seems that if i ever get married i need to have two weddings, or something like that, because else i might not to be able to invite both... usually i manage to ignore these things, but just now it is all so very frustrating...

Must be frustrating. My parents did their divorce amicably, for which I'm very grateful, but people can be selfish when they're hurting. I hope they get over it enough to keep you out of it at some point in the future.

In all seriousness, my sympathies and empathies are with you. Dealing with people who are supposed to be the grownups, but are acting like children, is never easy.

i am usually okay with it (they have been seperated for seven years now, and are divorced for over a year), but currently the whole going to court over the house is just making the shit boil, as we would say in german... and i got a bit worried today, because my father is the type of person who gets very nervous and it makes one worried for his health, he didn't seem to be doing good today...

it's sad that the two people who are probably the most important in my life, seem to each think the other one is evil...

but anyway, i can usually deal with it (mainly by pretending the other one doesn't exist, when i am visiting one of them)...

Yep. Being adults is no guarantee that people can't be real babies sometimes. Hope it works out and settles down.

Peace. Just keep telling yourself, if you're not already, that you, "cannot be responsible for them." They'll make their own pain or joy, and you're only responsible for your own happiness; you can't make theirs happen. That's a choice they make.
