David arrived at the school of his son Kolh who was special needs child. He was hoping this Parent Teacher Conference would shed some hope his son was getting batter but that what most parent hope when their child has Autism. Being single father didnt help either but this school was suppose to be the best.

He was dressed ina nice suit that was black. He was avg looking guy but he found it hard to find a woman that understand his life and not be after his money. He made his way to the class room and then walks into it as he goes and sits at a table as he waits for the teacher to arrive.

Maggie hurried to her office, she had been with a child that was banging his head against the floor and couldn't leave him at the appointed time. She had a file under her arm. She ran her hand throught her auburn hair and closed her startling green eyes. She was tired and so hated parent/teacher's meeting. She walked into her office and smiled at the man sitting there. She walked up to him.

"Hello, I am Miss Johnson

"Hello Miss Johnson I am Mr Ballway"he said as he stood up to shake her hand she was lovely young woman he thaught to himself as he shakes her hand"So how bad is it"he asked as he was ready to hear the worst.

Maggie shook his hand and jestured to his sit. As they sat down she smiled at him.

"Actually, your son is a sweet boy, gentle and kind. Even without conversation you can sense that. He seems to like walking with me the most. I think with time we will be able to reach him"

"Well I know that as his father I do my best to spend time with him when I am not working"He said as he it was nice that his son had opened to another esp young woman old enough to be the childs mother. IT had been 8 years since his wife had died and he hadnt had a chance to date.

She smiled at him as he spoke. "It is good you spend time with him, a lot of the children I work with have parents that are less then attentive to their needs. Well I prepared a list for you of what I consider an improvement in your son. You can use it as a guide to work on so that we are both on the same path.

"Well thank you this will be a great help."HE said as he take the packet and looks over it alot of this was what he was already doing. When he found out Kolh was diagiosed with Autism he got all the book on the subject and started reading up on it and making list of things to try and help him and his son to do as activies.

Maggie watched David read her suggestion. She looked at his face and saw it was a very handsome one. She chilled herself for thinking such a thing about a parent. She stood up and went over to the cooler for a drink. Pushing the button, the wanter flowed into the little cup that she held under the small opening. As she drak the water she could see David was done. She walked over to the table once more and asked if their was anything else she could help him with.

He had noticed Maggie looking at him as he went over the information she gave him. Then whenshe went to the cooler he look over and saw her drink the water. Apart of him was getting excited but another part of him was chastising himself for thinking things like that about his son's teacher.

Maggie smiled at him.

"That is all I have to report, so unless you need to know something I have not covered, I think we are done.

She looked at him expectantly.

"Well I was wondering if you had dinner plans for tonight"he asked as he had sitter for his son and was wanting a night for himself for once.

She wasn't sure if it was against the rules to go out with a parent. So she was quiet for a moment.

"I dont' know if teachers are allowed to go out with the parents of their students.

"Not as date think of it as contiunation of our confence to discuss my son"he said to her as it was mroe business thing then personal

She thinks for a minute.

"Yes, that is what we can do, talk more about your son so I dont get in trouble with the school"

She looked at her watch.

Well it's just about time for me to leave.

"Give me your address adn I pick you up"he said to her

She thought for a moment, to give a parent her address seemed wrong. But she shrugged thinking what harm can it do. She scribbled down her address and handed it to him with a smile on her face.

HE take the card"See youa bout 730ish"he said to her as he gave her a quick once over

The way he looked her surprised her. She felt possitively naked under his scruitiny. She watched him leave and had second thoughts about going out with him.

David heads back home and calls a sitter that was recommended by the Autism foundation for time when parent just need a night out.

Maggie put on a modest skirt and blouse and looked at herself. She wondered if she should wear a dress, she had never dated before but was this a date, no, she was going to talk about the child with the Father, a skirt and blouse should do. She brushed her long hair until it shined and then tied it back. She put on some rose colored lipstick and she was ready.

David gottena sitter for his son after he showered, shaved and changed into a black polo and dockers. He head over to Maggie's house he didnt know if this was a date since he hasnt had a date in along time.

A knock on her door told her that David was here. She grabbed her purse and went to the door and opened it. She meant to slip out of the door so that he would not be her house. But he was quicker then her and was standing inside before she had a chance to close the door.

"Hi I dont you to think this is date I mean it could be but I dont know"David said as he didnt know if it was or not since he had been out the game fore a few years.

She shook her head no.

"No remember we are just having dinner to talk about your son. I dont believe a date is possible between you and I. I am your son's teacher, I dont think it is allowed for me to sse you on a personal basis.

"I know it just that I havent been ona date in over 8 years so I dont know whats a date and what isnt"he said as he looked her over
