So for all the rope and restraint folks, I have a question for you.

Have you used paracord in your play? If so, would you please share how? I'm thinking it could be a new variant to play with.

Due to the high tensile low diameter ratio, if you're going to apply it to bare skin as a binding or restraint make sure you use more than one wrap to ease the possibility of it cutting into flesh. Also, don't use it around the neck at all, ever.

Best probable use would be as anchor cord for tie down points or suspension play.

And make sure you have paramedic scissors on hand cos that shit is tough to cut in emergencies.

My sub and I have made para chord survival bracelets and ankle cuffs and used them as as a binding cuff and ankle binders also attached para chord bracelet to spreader bars. plus it is a good chore for my submissive to do make her own binder we put key rings on the end and pad lock them together or use a carabiner if we want it quick.

Paracord is extremely durable, but it can cut into the flesh if not careful. As others have stated if using, use multiple or make them into cuffs/bracelets. Or use a padding between it and the skin.
One great thing about it, will last forever. I have used it to restring my deck chairs.
