pancakes or waffles?

Waffles crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle, drizzled in real maple syrup. yum.

despite all the waffle-centric posts I went with pancakes w/ strawberries in em. yum.

We had pancakes this morning... with the butter pecan syrup from IHOP.

If ya ask em they do. ;) We got a whole gallon for $14, which when you price that with other syrups it ain't bad. It has a tendency to crystalize after 3 months but all you have to do is heat it back up to decrystalize the sugar.

Pancakes. Just finished mine for breakfast.

The simplest, best thing to make (besides pasta). The only two rules are to get the consistency of the batter right, and only flip once.

And a very hot pan.

I haven't made waffles in ages. Maybe I'll make them this morning.

I would normally say waffles, but a friend of mine recently made pancakes for me using a recipe she got from Martha Stewart's (I know..aaaarrrgghh!) website that were scrummy! That's scrumtious and yummy combined.
