I think it was on FOX, the Greta Van Susteran program, where the only two women in American History to be on a Presidential ticket, Geraldine Ferraro and Sarah Palin, were brought together in the same studio at the same time.

I didn't know quite what to expect, as these two women occupy opposite and extreme political views.

Palin was rather subdued, I presume as in respect for her elder and the first woman to run for the VP position in American history.

Ferraro rather ignored Palin as in, 'how could a real feminist be a conservative?'

But the point that Palin made that pissed me off, was when she pronounced that all those who thought women might stay at home and be wives and mothers, were Neanderthals!

Up urs lady!

In my not so humble opinion, militant feminism has destroyed not only the family, but meaningful and lasting heterosexual relationships and left us with a nation of 'latch-key' children, half of whom will never know their biological fathers.

Statistics released just today stated the one in five American women between the ages of 40 and 44, had no children. That is an 80% increase since the 1970's.

This isn't just middle and upper class white women; this study went across the ethnic and racial spectrum.

It wasn't just the sexual revolution and women becoming more involved in politics and such; of far more import is the tremendous increase in the size of government and the fact that over 40% of all expenditures are made by government.

The expansion of government at all levels and the increased tax confiscation has made it impossible for a single bread winner family to survive.

If a man could support a family by his labor alone, I wonder just how many women would leave the workplace and become full time wives and mothers?

I had three wives and none of them worked outside the home.

Yeah, I know...up urs too!:)
