Cloth pins can be fun but I don't believe I ever thought of doing that with them. As for the photoshop, they look like the colors have been bumped but everything else looks real.

Not in the way "A 'shop" seems to imply. I think the colors have been enhanced and clarified and the photo quality improved but I think the clothespins are totally real.

It could be, but I don't think it is. To me, it looks like all of the clothes pins are pretty small, especially those on the hands. And, in all pictures, the skin is unusually loose, as if a face lift is in order. Keep in mind, all of these pictures are pretty close up so you don't know who's or what's skin it is. In a couple pictures, the skin looks very close to animal skin, instead of human skin. One picture looks kind of like an elephant's skin. Loose skin allows you to do just about anything you want with it.

Yeah it was the looseness that was confusing me, I think. Made it look odd.

Hmmm....
Perhaps the individual lost a lot of weight, leaving all that loose skin?
I still think the pictures were manipulated, though.
