I woke up to a really big, orange ball of fire streaming through my windows!

It's a good day for a wedding, me thinks...

And I'm found again

ahh the goddess stirs here also.. but with thunder and light rains... she is shaking off the blankets of winter...
and the bringer winds carry her awakening warmth to us...
as the sun god gets closer to the goddess earth...

I saw the first bat tonight of the season just now!!!!!

Perfect twilight part of the evening... it swooped and scooped and did it's little bat ballet between the bare but swollen branches of the oak trees...

Though the Earth is very old,
Each Spring She grows young again...

the Awan.. I agree well said.... old but rebirth... as I watched snails mating , and seen the first Mosquito last evening.

I was wondering if I might come and read and maybe post in your pagan thread? On a side note and maybe not related but I think so considering that birds are messengers. Shrugging shoulders.
There were about 150 turkey vultures hovering over my place of work this morning, while first I felt some trepidation, fearing for the sheep and other livestock. Upon arrival, I found that the birds were just dancing on the wind, updrafts. I thought there might be some significance to this event than the obvious, just migrating. So I think I will do some research about it. I don't think things just happen.

I stood on the porch of the second floor and eyes upwards...so close they touched the tree tops...
Never have I seen such a thing. And I asked people who came after I did and but they saw nothing of any importance... so many beautiful wings...
Ah well and good.

Your kindness humbles me.

Hope everyone had a wonderful celebration... no matter your path... springtime cannot be denied!

I wanted to put this up last week... Fortunatley, if you see it like I do, I was so occupied with springtime endeavors to even come up for air...

Anyway, this is something I wrote for Ostara last year.. I was the North quarter releasing my grasp on Winter, speaking to East and the Springtime coming... He sings back, picture a full circle
And a pic of my altar for this last Spring...

I am Winter
I am speaking
It seems long that I have held the Earth in my grasp
A time to rest…
Yet my desire remains evergreen, as the snowfall melts into Spring

I am North
I am speaking
It is my direction in which the labyrinthe lays
That unicursal path where we journey to the most sacred spaces within ourselves and back, reborn to the freshness of the East
My mind is harder than stone in retaining an image of stone –
Yet I yield to the winds of the Spring

I am Earth
I am speaking
I have nestled the seeds of your dreams, close and warm, to my breast,

These days are glorious in so many ways~ I saw 3 deer rushing up by the pond on my way up the driveway today... Butterflies are flying again and love is all around

And the spiders are back too!!! Have yet to be startled by my first snake yet... but I assure you all I'll let ya know!

Just got done re foresting 40 new pine trees on the East coast and it has just started in the planting season.

There are 50 apple trees to plant in the Catskills Mtn. area and who knows how many cannibis sativa plants to get in the ground.

Cannibis works great in my homemade love potions.
