Pacific NorthWest

And what made you move away

Work. It took me all over the West and I ended up in Walla Walla. Always thought I would return some day, but you folks have priced me out of the market. Can't afford to live over there any more. Sigh. :(

I know how that is

I'm a student and I'm having issues with rent these days

Oh my goodness... I found a PNW thread! I knew there was one out there... just kept missing it I suppose.

Hello all. I am also in the NW. Yay!

this is the one week I wish I was IN the PNW....be nice to spend christmas with a nice white blanket around and be able to make my normal visit to Portland :)

I can imagine. It has to be tough now. I was lucky enough to go to college when it was still pretty cheap living. I looked on one of the housing websites and my $15,000 house that was walking distance to the U. W. is now "worth" $450,000. Now, that's outrageous.

The wife and I are up here North of Seattle proper a little bit and would love to say hi. We are always on the watch for a great (female) friend and nookie partner.

But of course we are always open to chatting with interesting people in general.

Mine was a mix-up. We had a great time at the New Years Party, but then the morning after things started to go downhill. Some family issues have popped up in the last few days that leave both my fiancee and I drained emotionally.

But, on a lighter note, my resolution is to quit smoking. I vow to be done with cigarettes no later than August 13th, one month prior to our wedding. I don't want to be a smoker any more, and especially don't want to be caught puffing on a cig in my wedding dress!

that is a good one

I achieved that this year as my 2007 resolution.

This year it is to get into shape
