Offering more evidence that Republicans will not, under any circumstance, pursue any real investigation into the collusion of the con artist with Russian agents, Trey Gowdy, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee had this to say on the Fox tabloid about the near daily revelations of collusion:
"I think we are missing an increasingly shrinking window of opportunity," Gowdy said. "We're now in July. We're not talking about infrastructure, we're not talking about tax reform, we're really not even talking about health reform that much. We're talking about Comey and obstruction of justice and potential criminality and Russia."
In other words, who cares that a foreign government interfered with our democratic elections? What really matters is appearances, as shown in this statement made to CBS News:
Or, put another way, "We need to know about these things so we can think up ways to shape the message so it appears this is all a plan by the Kenyan-born Muslim Obama to undermine the con artist while he's out on the golf course getting more bribes."
