For some people, it's a very exciting thing, that whole framing, waiting, lighting, backdrop, ect. picture taking experience. Some people even eroticise it. For them, there may be no feeling at all of "hurry the fuck up".

I wasnt implying anything about my judgement of the pix. What struck me as funny wasnt so much of a partner taking the pic but of a hired photographer taking it.

Maybe the guy having a coffee while his balls are getting prepped. The juxtaposition is too much.
