Another idea inspired by movies!

My husband loves zombie movies where a virus is released and turns most of the population into zombies. For a twist how about its a virus that destroys sexual inhibitions in women or men (but not both)? There'll be a world where women or men and trying to fight their own body's constant need for sex and failing.

Of course some might say the virus is already out there and affecting men already!

The question is, is anybody going to try to cure it? If so, I'd be rooting against Dustin Hoffman.

hum....i see the one conflict but not sure how to make it into a story (more than 5k words)

So funny thing and I am so going to blow my own horn here but I already started doing a series on that very thing. Well minus the whole virus part I was not planning on explaining it. Anyway in my story the first part is posted for a while now men and women turn into zombies that are sex crazed and that is how they make more zombies.

It is called Texas Town Orgy Ch. 1, I will get back to it soon I swear.

How about...

Perhaps they are searching for a cure but the top researcher on the project, unfortunately, becomes afflicted. She must wrestle with her increasingly intrusive sexual feelings while trying to also think clearly enough to make progress on the research. It's a conflict that we've probably all felt to some extent in real life.

I'm not sure about the ending. Maybe it is found that the disease can be put into remission, even if not cured, by a long series of extremely strong (drug enhanced?) orgasms. The researcher discovers this approach accidentally through her own frantic masturbation.
