We have accumulated too many Village Idiots. We have become a sanctuary city! For a time we had Vette and his pet koala, with Miles and Miles providing a second act. But lately we've accumulated a plethora of idiots.

Have other villages dumped their idiots on us, or have they escaped to our fair town?

they've always been here, but there were enough other posters of a different ilk so that the grumpy old conservative block was but a minority.

as they've grown in number, others have fled or started lurking, increasing the grumpy block's visibility, causing even more to flee or lurk, ad infinitum.

2. You can "fabricate quotes" too. It's a fairly common snarky/funny thing to do on the forums. You'd know that if you weren't clearly living your life with your head firmly lodged inside your spacious rectum.
