The airlines whose planes were hijacked should have been sued out of exitstance (Thus promoting a greater attention to security). That is our way. Negligance, and insurance.

Instead, our response has to been to give all responsibilty to the government, to create more agencies, to give more powers, to, in essence give Al Gore and Billary Clinton everything that they have ever wanted.

Whose side are you on?

Are you fuckin' high? Listen nimrod YOU CAN'T BLAME EVERYTHING ON THE CLINTONS OR THE DEMOCRATS. Your president is in office now. Your right-wing agendas are trashing our economy. When things go bad you can't blame them on people who aren't in office. Bill Clinton did not approve the US Patriot act nor the Anti-Terrorism act, nor the bill for the Federalization of Airport security.

Get your head out of your ass and go buy some fucking common sense, nimrod

Oh give me a break. That is total bullshit! If anybody is responsible it is the terrorists who crashed the planes. Commercial enterprises cannot possibly protect against every possibility. If they even tried airline tickets would cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Despite what some people believe (mostly greedy people) - the American way is not to sue the ass off commercial enterprises for something that isn't their fault.

Well not all responsibility, but too much. However, right now it is the so-called Conservatives along with neo-liberals who are doing this so...

I am on the side of Liberty - whose side are you on; you are all over the place.

Your post is so poorly thought out that if I didn't know better I would say you are a Pee Pee Man alter ego.

The big operative word is "sued" only the lawyers win in these suits....what we need to do is outlaw lawyers in congress.

Ya Bill Clinton gave us our worst nightmare....peace and prosperty....how could we stand it.

hopefully the future will bring more...

The name is Victor Hugo's main character from Les Miserables. I called him 24601 because that was Val Jean's prison number.

Jesus, could you be a little more obscure? I was trying to figure out what area that zip code covered.

So we're clear...it's perfectly okay for Congress to draft and push through a bill that clearly violates the 4th amendment, and gives the government more power than ever before.

It's perfectly okay for Bush to set up a War Tribunal, illegally imprison 1,000+ people without accusations or access to lawyers - including a journalist who happens to be investigating a murder in Bush's home state. It's perfectly okay for Bush to decide that he and only he should be the one to try, convict, and execute any of these 1,000+ people he wishes, without the American people knowing what is happening.

But Oooh Nooo...Don't Federalize the airports! That's 1984 all over again!

Pull Limbaugh & O'Reilly out of your ear and read some real news for a change. Go read what arch-conservative William Safire has to say about Bush's actions. He's even gone so far as to call him "Dictator Bush". It's not some liberal conspiracy. Anyone with a brain on both sides of the political fence is concerned about the recent unConstitutional power grabs. And you're worried about airlines? Pullease.

Laurel, I agree with you for the most part, but wouldn't it just be easier to put the Limbaugh connection in your sigline? Save a lot of typing that way.

The gooey stuff that came with the baster - my cats loved it. Thanks!

Now you know what I want to be President. *evil laugh* :p

Jean Val Jean who do you think you are?? TODD?

Let's see:

One poorly thought-out post. Check.

One gratuitous slur at Hilary Clinton. Check.

One gigantic leap of logic. Check.

One display of complete lack of understanding of U.S. law. Check.

One reference to a character from a classic novel. Hey, wait a minute....

Is there a wrestler named Jean Val Jean?

Maybe I was too drunk for you to get the point,

but if lawsuits in prior cases would have been fiscally painful to the airline industry, I mean get real, how long have planes been hijacked and why did they choose American plnes verses Isreali?. Airport security has been a joke for years because the financial rewards were just to great to ignore it.

I did not vote for Bush as I have expressed many times. I am a Libertarian, a free market malthusian, and a gun-toting nut. I would have shoved a box-cutter up some raghead's ass because I am strong enough to lift the cart up and free the trapped victim [for Lavy, who was smart that night, but not as quick as she has been in the past, so you see, that man is me...]

Yes, you can lay a lot of this directly at Clinton's feet who had the provications to take out Bin Bin Baby and the opportunity. And now Hillary gets to make the call on who will be the next prosecutor for Bill's pardongate.

WHATTA SYSTEM!

[good one Thomas, but I am the anti-Todd, I bear the Markov Cain]
