I was back in the pool again this morning, and yet again an empty locker room afforded me a little time to "get in touch with myself" post-swim. I just love these private moments...don't you???

I've never been much of a poet, nor do I claim to be one now! It was the subject in school that I always dreaded the most! While I could muddle my way through the allegories and symbolic meanings in books, I could NEVER figure out poems. Most of the time they went right over my head while I sat there dazed and confused like a Kindergartener taking Calculus!!
I wrote this poem specifically for someone special. With her permission, I am sharing it here for everyone to see. I titled it "If I...Would You". I'm pretty sure it's not going to win any awards, but I hope you at least enjoy it for what it is.
If I were to reach between your thighs,
Would you 'fuck' me with your eyes?
If I were to take your from behind,
Would you really even mind?
If I were to grasp your neck and squeeze,
Would you fall onto your knees?
If I were to taste you and say 'yum,'
Would you let me make you cum?
If I were to bed you for the night,
Would you hold onto me tight?
