When it's so blatant...yes, it is.AlecCarter said:...it also says in the guidelines that there's nothing more than "soft nudity" "no threats/insults" and a few other things that have pretty loose rules. Given the fact that I'm obviously an active member (and not some kid happening by to spam the hell out of a pay site) is it really that big of a deal to anyone?

JustWanderful said:6. Any post or PM made with the intent of promoting another site or a product will be removed. Spam is strictly forbidden. You may not send unsolicited PM's or emails to other users trying to promote other websites or products. Literotica is not a place to promote other websites, and we are very strict on this issue. If you abuse this policy, you will be banned. If you persist, your ISP will be contacted.
Hey, they're not my guidelines to be strict about. I just have little patience for people who think rules - or guidelines - apply to everyone else but them.AlecCarter said:Yes, I did, since it was the guidelines that made the suggestion to me:
...hrm, since this is a non-commercial, personal, non-pay, no viruses, no pop-ups, not harmful, it follows the guidelines you seem to be so strict about to a T.

Also, I do not like the copyright hazardous potentials by allowing other hosts to blatantly use my creations.
That's right, Alec...you're the one and only person in the entire history of Literotica who's been targeted this way. With Halloween right around the corner, we figured what could be better than an old-fashioned witch hunt!AlecCarter said:...already been done.
But a special thanks to everyone who felt it necessary to get their panties in a wad about this thread but none of the others that do the same thing.
*sigh*

It is possible to play by the rules, and still get what you want. Just ask for PMs from interested parties.

BreeCarter said:i respect what you are saying, however. there are MANY situations on this site that are not deleted, and one specific example would be Main Literotica Forums>BDSM Talk> rim job made hundreds of pictures that people are FORCED to see when they open it by "Alt". All of which are hardcore porn that do in fact have websites attached to them. Yet I notice ALL of those are still there. Not to mention that in this you have a CHOICE to look or not to look. It's one simple thing. There are many on here that you dont have a choice. It just seems like fights would be picked a little more wisely, and that if there is such a problem with this particular one (which is in fact hurting no one) than you/they can all go into each individual thread and do the same for every single post. Being as that that is the rules.

And without even getting into the whole issue of whether or not that site is YOUR personal site, let me ask you this...if you're such an 'active' member, why don't you just post your photos here, instead of trying to lure Literoticans elsewhere to view them?
Hmmmmm?
JustWanderful said:If one is so unhappy with what a site has to offer, maybe one should go elsewhere. Once it is obvious that doing what one is doing is not allowed, is frowned upon, and can get their posts deleted or their accounts banned, maybe it would be wise to move along. Or to abide by what they know to be acceptable, especially if one happens to be such an incredibly active member...certainly all better options than whining and making people dislike and/or distrust such a person.
