To all the Americans who read this post:

My heart goes out to all the people around the world who have lost someone close to them. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We know that Osama Bin-Laden had a reason, or so he thinks, but I also think we'd all like to know what that reason was, right? We need to unite and stand behind our president in what-ever he decides to do.

I, like many others, am proud to be an American. This is a tragedy and our freedom and our great nation has been threatened by nothing more than a few acts of terrorism. If you feel like I do, then you know we don't have to take this!

WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE BROUGHT TO OUR KNEES BECAUSE THIS HAPPENED! We're not going to panic and we will not go down without a fight.

This is the greatest country in the world. I am appalled that something like this could happen. At first I was shocked, then angry. Now, as the reality actually hits home, I am upset. It makes you want to cry that something like this could happen to our nation.

My husband was scheduled to go to New York City and had to cancel his trip at the last minute. As I hugged him goodnight, I could only thank God that he was still here with me and he hadn't gone.

If you'd like to email me and tell me how you feel, or just need someone to talk to, my email address is waterlily2000_23@hotmail.com

Amen Sisters!

I too am a proud American. I am humbly grateful to be a citizen of the United States of America. This whole even is heartbreaking, and the aftereffects are becoming steadily worse than the initial shock.
I agree with President Bush in saying that this cowardly act will not bring our nation to its knees, and we will triumph over adversity as we have so many other horrific times in our history.
I'm on a Role play forumn, and currently the only thing happening are our friends from Australia, England and other nations, sending their support and prayers. And with those words comes the knowledge that we are not alone.
To SexySecretary: I'm so happy that you had merely a close call and aren't frantically trying to find your husband today. Your story gave me a sense of relief I have not had in awhile. I don't know you personally - but I'm so happy you don't have to deal with that kind of pain. And thank you so much for your inspiring post - you're one of the best!!

God Bless the U.S.A.

Thanks for the compliment on my post. I did have a close call and I feel for the people trying to find their loved ones still today -- their fathers, husbands, brothers, sisters, mothers. I wish I could be there to help them in anyway I could. I have prayed and asked God to give President Bush guidance in whatever may happen.

I have only one thing left to say, and my husband agrees that this says it all -- God Bless the U.S.A. Fly your flag so everyone can see!
