Oregon

Miss me?

Hey everyone. I haven't been on in awhile, how is everyone doing? Damn nice weather lately isn't it? Been sitting by the pool enjoying a few beers myself! :nana:

I don't know about everyone else but i'm doig fine!

She told me we couldn't afford beer anymore and I'd have to quit.
Then I caught her spending $65.00 on make-up.
I asked how come I had to give up stuff and she didn't.
She said she needed the make-up to look pretty for me.
I told her that was what the beer was for.
I don't think she's coming back.

Strange that we don't have more interest in Oregon.

Been that way for a loooooong time.... WA does a little better but not by much....

Could have something to do with the m/f ratio.... or maybe it is just something in the water....

So, I'm back, and I have more time but I guess I don't know what to say.

I'm 21, and relatively new to the area, and desperately curious about sex in general (I don't have a lot of experience), as evidenced by my post in the GLBT personals section. I love to read erotica and swap cyber/phone sex/email... for me, it's as much about the creative exercise as it is about the sex. (I know that sounds sorta pretentious, but I'm that kind of nerd.)

I'm a nerd, and a student, and a lot of other random stuff. These days my interests are mainly the future and fitness... I'm out-of-shape, but I'm hitting the gym and walking (when it's not storming outside) and improving my diet, so it's just a matter of time before I'm one of those brazen Literotica camwhores :)

Man, my life sounds so boring when it's on the same forum as the crazy exhibitionists :)

Hey my girlfriend and I are moving back to Portland in about a month and we are looking for a place. We would like to find a small house otherwise we would consider an apartment unit in someones house or possibly a duplex. Out of town might be nice to but I would like to be within about 30 mins of the city. We are hoping to spend $500 - $700

Just thought I would see if you guys knew of anything.

Sorry to disappoint you, but to rent a house the minimum would be 1,000 to 1,200. And an appartment you might be able to get for 700 to 900, if you are not picky about the neighborhood you live in. If you can swing it you are just as well off to buy a house or condo if you are both working. Small homes in older OK neighborhoods are selling for about 210,000 to 225,000 :rose:

I have seen a few tiny houses and duplexes around that price. I also remember the prices dropping pretty quick once you get a little ways out of town.
We deffinately want to buy a place but we need to wait untill our lives stabilize a little. Plus it's hard enough trying to find a place to rent from across the country. Once we get there we can start looking at more long term options.

House prices have JUMPED in the last few years! Even outside or Portland proper. Or is it especially?

Another rainy Sunday morning in Salem! The sun is trying to poke through though!
