Orchidea's touch and mood

Welcome to this thread. :)
I just needed a "little corner" where I can share things that I like. But above all, a place where I can express my thoughts, feelings and mood, not through words but through images (no gifs, please).

I hope you can share yours as well. Everybody is welcomed. But please keep in mind that this is not about posting explicit sexual images. There are plenty of threads where you can post them. Thank you. :rose:

We have five senses through which we experience the universe: taste, touch, sight, sound, and smell, and we also have our mind. Sensuality is about paying attention to our senses. It is a mindset. If you enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea, post an image that conveys that pleasure, and so on about other things. I hope you get the idea.

A New find

For those that know me, I'm an audiophile with a penchant for jazz.

This is a new find for me. Soft, cool and prefect for our social distancing. Tim Garland's "City Solitude." I hope you enjoy

Ms. Orchidea, love the photo in your signature

Thank you. That's a beautiful piece.

Jazz is the right mood for me now. And it's a great subject to express it through images as well.

Good morning beautiful lady so far away! Such a beautiful image to anchor and begin your new thread!

What a wonderful thread idea. I am going to contribute with an image of my favorite mug as I think of the lights of the Vegas skyline while on the High Roller wheel at 550 feet with every sip.

But the image is more about my first cup of coffee. I like it to be totally quiet, my own moment of solitude where I can block out the day-to-day and let my mind wander and enjoy the thoughts and images that flash through my mind.

It is in those moments….in that stillness where I can see full pages of words forming as certain thoughts stimulate the creative side of me. I never know where they will take me but, as I enjoy each sip of that first cup of coffee, I know the outside world is left outside and my thoughts become reflective and relaxed.

It’s the way I always start my day no matter how hectic it will be when I jump into the fray we call everyday life.

Good luck with this new, wonderful endeavor!

Thank you, Franky, and welcome.

I'm having a coffee too and ears full of music.

Wonderful idea for a thread. I haven't figured out how to post pic on the actual message yet. There is still sooo much I don't know about so many things. But I will enjoy seeing you pics.
Thank you for your thread.

Thank you Desiree. :)
Stop by anytime and hope you enjoy. :rose:

I've seen your posts here. I hope this thread finds much successful posts. I possibly may stop back here from time to time and watch what happens:rose:

Unfortunately, I'm a part of the "figuring out posting pictures" crew. I hope to enjoy your thread anyway:rose:

Great idea for a thread. I hope this fits.

That's perfect. Anything that might reflect your mood, or something that you like or intrigues you. Something that draws you in. You might not even know why but it doesn't matter. The important thing is that it speaks to you in someway.

Thank you, BlackCaramel. I very much appreciate your message.
Please stop and share your thoughts anyway. Maybe an image that is posted will speak to you as well. :):rose:

Lately the memory of a day in New Zealand where we went whale watching, and saw whales, dolphins and several different birds, and in the evening had this view from the balcony at the hostel where we stayed have been on my mind. I think it's because how sometimes you catch an amazing picture by pure luck.

I know you want to tease me with that, Viking. Damn you. :D:kiss:

My mood right now is to be pedantic,

And remind everyone that we have so many senses beyond the paltry five that that taught us in elementary school:

-Proprioception, our body's sense of itself and it's position,
-Chronoception, the sense of time (mine is incredibly flawed, but still there)
-Nocioception, the sense of pain.

My point is that we have so much more that let's use explore this world; I am happy that you created this thread to share such experiences.
