January 11, 2021 •

The Trump administration is trying to force banks to make loans to gun-makers and to finance payday lenders. Critics call the move bizarre. It's opposed by watchdog groups and banks."

"Forcing" them to make loans, or preventing them from discrimination? Isn't this the commercial equivalent of the anti-redlining rules?

Silly liberals and their 'situational justification' syndrome.

Redlining is refusing to do business of any kind with anyone who lives in a certain area the business considers undesireable. Discrimination has legal definitions.

Choosing not to do business with a certain company or business sector doesn't fall under either category.

Yes it does SFB. You're trying to justify a distinction without a difference.

THEIR discriminations is ok.....because reasons....discrimination is only bad when other people do it for reasons (D)'s don't approve of.

I think it should all go.

Anyone should be able to discriminate against doing business with anyone they don't want to do business with for any reason they want.

Freedom, liberty, pursuit of ones happiness and all that.
