1950's pre code horror comics. I love the texture, the lurid covers and most of all the smell of the old paper and ink.
I especially like The ones that eventually led to the creation of the "comics code"
man if you see what is in the average comic today this was really a joke.
Then again it was pretty much propaganda that comics were corrupting the youth.
Even if you're not a comic fan check out "seduction of the Innocent" sometime. Pretty interesting.
In the comic back issue market any book mentioned in SOTI is worth a lot more than the issues around it.
I am trying to collect them all, but a couple are some serious money-the kind the wife would shoot me-money

I'm with Sam Scribble. I like cast iron pans the best... And my cutting gear is a combo of Cutco, and hand forged primitive style knives.
