Happy Hump Day!
good evening Henry.
Good morning Alex.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm,
so glad that some of the pancakes are left.
These are delicious.
And the coffee is mighty strong,
just like I like it.

Enters the Cafe, grabs a coffee and sets to work on tidying up ....

:breezing in for a lil bit: I must take stock on what is left in the pantry... then go out to purchase some additional food items.

Hello All.... :blows kisses:

I may need to sleep upstairs tonight..so exhausted after a full day of work and training.

*stopping in for a quick look around*

TOG asked why I hadn't been here, and since I couldn't think of a good answer, I decided to stop by. ;)

Boy, you're fast.
Well, I'm not saying you're easy,
just really really swift.

And the best part
besides the food
(scroll up to find the menus)
is you don't have
to always talk in questions. :D

Not that there's anything
wrong with that . . .

Welcome to the Moon.

Enters the Cafe and grabs a coffee for myself...

Leaves a coffee near Timmy and welcome ....

anyone needs me just holler and i'll try to be here...

Boy, I miss this place.
Life has been spinning by so quickly
that I've only had the barest of time
at Literotica.

And I guess everyone else has
been busy as well.

And where were you forty years ago?
Just a gleam in your mama's eye,
or do you remember in detail
where you were when you heard
that the President had been killed?

I can't believe it's been forty years.
I was in algebra class,
and we went home in stunned silence,
and for four days we barely moved
from in front of the tv
as the whole drama unfolded
including watching oswald
get shot on live tv.

Anyone else?

I wasn't born yet....How old were you when that happened TOG?

I was at school... Junior High...

Are there still Junior High Schools around any more? Or are they all called Middle Schools now?

i was thirteen.
for four days there was NO regular programming on tv at all.
we just watched the news,
and i probably wasn't even
conscious of the importance in history
of what we were watching.

But the world has
never been the same . . .

*waves*

Wasn't born ... and in wrong country ...

Guess I missed out all round!

walks into the cafe and takes a seat at a table ands opens up my book while no ones around.

Enters the Cafe, grabs a coffee for myself and hobbles to a booth having left fresh coffee on.....

A drunk man who reeked of Rum sat down on a subway seat next to a priest. The man's tie was stained, his face was plastered with red lipstick, and a half bottle of Rum was sticking out of his torn coat pocket. He opened his newspaper and began reading.

After a few minutes, the man turned to the priest and asked, "Say, Father, d'ya know what causes arthritis?"

"Yes, my son, it's caused by loose living, being with cheap, wicked women, drinking too much alcohol, having contempt for your fellow man, sleeping around with prostitutes, lack of bath, and things like that......."

"Well, I'll be damned," the drunk muttered returning to his paper.

The priest, thinking about what he had said, nudged the man and apologized saying: "I'm very sorry. Look, I didn't mean to come on so strongly. How long have you had arthritis?"

"Aw' I've never had it Father. I was just readin' here that the Pope does..."
