Italian... I'm Italian. You know... I make a good spinach lasagne. I think I prefer it to the type with meat actually. And stuffed shells... Yum. I haven't made them in yonks.

The holidays are coming soon and I am thinking maybe this year I will make some specials that I haven't in a couple of years. We'll see.

I know it's early to worry about Christmas/Yule, but it's really only a little more than 2 months away. Would like to know if any of you prepare special dishes at that time of year? And will you share with me? Please?

Maid i do have a few dishes that are great prepared that time of year. If i can i will find the recipe that is in my family for Christmas cake and Christmas pudding. Usually it is just a cooked chicken with most vegies, sometimes we have ham too.

Funny you should mention the pudding... I was going to start asking around for a recipe so that I could make my own. What does your family serve with yours? Brandy butter or white sauce? Or something else?

Christmas pudding this year (though I may still give it a try) is being hand-delivered fresh from the UK. (Sandy Claws is coming a few days early to my house -- part of the reason I'm so looking forward. )

I'm having kawfee, thanks. No one broke in to leave donuts or rolls or anything like that in the night though. You know -- someone has to start training up these burglars right.

DM... Thinking maybe if he really doesn't want to come you could always deliver the pudding in his stead? It's a thought.

Well, it looks like Maid and Henry and Mari had quite a breakfast. And they even cleaned up after themselves. Henry seems like the perfect host, I wonder if I can get him working here full time. And we do need to fill out the staff if we're going to get through
the busy times.

I guess I should spruce things up a bit just in case someone drops by.
