keeping busy is a good thing.......lol my writing is stagnant if not completely dead......think the passion i once had for it is gone.....

That's a shame.
But I've been through an "uninspired" phase, or rather a phase when reality sapped my inspiration.
I'm open to ideas right now ... would be a great escape ...
Just a matter of finding the right story with the right person/people.

I could use some fun ... adventure ... recklessness ... in my life right now ... even if it is virtual!
Too much realism is NOT good for a girl!

guess being my own worst critic doesn't help......feeling i'm letting my writing partners down all the time only adds to me wondering why i am here some days.......

There are plenty of talented writers out there....you shouldn't have too much trouble finding someone....

lol can relate to too much reality.....maybe i need time away from lit again.....although i dont think i will return if i leave....

You don't need to leave hun ... just have enough ticking over so you can dip your toe in or keep your foot in the door (or whatever other foot-based imagery you care to mention) ... that way you'll always be with us and have breathing space.

You're right that there are many writers around here with talent and great ideas. Fortunately we don't have to be *good* to enjoy Lit. I try to avoid being a critic - to others or myself - in my opinon if you're enjoying it, write it ... if you're not ... stop.

I've got one ongoing thread at the moment....thats not going too bad ......

I enjoy my writing when i get it.......am still on the lookout for another writing partner and storyline.......

lol yep and its better to be simplistic than beat around the bush......

There's no standard Henry! Just inviting ideas for people to play with. A shame you felt you couldn't join, but you're always welcome. Like you I prefer one-on-one. Much easier to plan, keep up with and negotiate!

thanks for that.....don't really have any ideas for a new thread either at the moment....something may come to me or i may by chance get an offer from someone to write in a 1 on 1 with them.....

Think yesterday was a roughish day for me as i love my writing and would miss it if i didn't have it.

Meeting new writers is always good to do *smiles*...

there are always pastries cooking here and i try to have fresh coffee brewing as well...
