I haven't had the problem, but I thnk you can click the "Pending" link on your submissions page to preview and edit the submission including the category.

The directions Wierd Harold gave you will work if your story has not yet posted on the site. If it's already been approved, you will need to edit.

On your submissions page, select Submit, New Story. In the Title field, enter the title of your story with the word "EDITED" at the beginning. Re-enter everything else into the fields (the story, the keywords, etc.), and change the category to the new one.

You might want to say something in the Notes field explaining the change in category. It's possible, however, depending on the story, that the reviewers might not put the story into a different cat if they don't think it belongs there.
