Ooops I did it again . . . written another story then struggled to find a home from it , and from the immediate 1 vote I think I found the wrong home. The problem as so often, is that I don't stick to a single genre. The story surrounds 2 married couples, one FF and one MF. In this case I have a few sexual scenes:

Scene 1 - Female Masturbation
Scene 2 - Lesbian
Scene 3 - Interracial Hetero (MF)
Scene 4 - Light Bondage (FF)

Please tell me not to do this and to stick to one genre (but my excuse is that I wanted a single story for the Halloween contest), but where would you have published it? I went for Erotic Couplings.

I would have placed it into Novels/Novellas. It's only 7 Lit pages but the crowd in that category is tolerant of multiple fetishes and kinks in a story, so long as you have the proper tags to warn them in advance.

I agree. It's 23K, long enough to reasonably be considered a novella.

It's not like N&N gives enormous views either. EC probably has better views, but you would have probably more/better comments in N&N. Either way, it's not the end of the world.

I almost always struggle to choose the right category as I don’t often start with a category in mind. Plus, like your story, I tend to have multiple sex scenes. Tagging is a challenge as well. I usually default to EC if it crosses categories.

You can resubmit the story with a request that the category be changed, but wait several weeks for it to happen.

If it's in EC, it'll do okay in the end. Score fuckabouts in the first days isn't a reflection on the story, it's just fucktards doing their usual thing.
