I need to start a new thread like I need another hole in my head, but I've been trying to work this idea out for a long time and I think I've finally succeeded.
In the tradition of the great Greek myths of old, I bring you 'Ye Gods'. This myth is similar in theme to the contest between Poseidon and Athena for the city of Athens. It too involves a similiar battle of wits. The pantheon of Greek gods and goddesses are in conflict over a small fictional island in the Aegean, just off the coast of Attica. The city's name is Erotiki Ormi. To end the dispute, Zeus proposes a contest with the winner taking the city.
The deities argue, as they always do, about what the contest should entail. That is until Aphrodite steps up. She explains that the people of Erotiki Ormi are unusual. For them, the sexual union has always been limited to one man and one woman, for reproduction only, without pleasure or love. (Don't laugh, it's what St. Augustine preached!) The goddess of love proposes that each god and goddess teach the mortals of Erotiki Ormi the multifaceted nature of sex. At the end of the contest, the townspeople will come together and vote for the best teacher and lover.
We'll need lots of gods and goddesses, but also plenty of mortals for this thread to be interesting. Sign up here and let the Sexual Olympics begin!
I'll get the thread started when we have a sufficient number to start.
