I just made a "Connect the Dots" post. I don't want to step on toes and cause for things to be linear a "Choose Your Own Adventure" situtation is coming in a couple of posts as Fantomex lets everyone know why he is being targeted and why he is involving the X-Men.


Certain individuals may want to place close attention because it involves them


How does everyone like the Juggernaut falling over explanation?

I could have just said Scarlett Witch changed reality then changed it back but you know that would have been lame

Just to note, Xavier and Jean are only controlling the part of Magma's mind that prevents her from harming people. He is able to preach mutant supremacy as much as he desires though

Thanks Shaq, but one question. You said that Xavier had separated the X-men into smaller groups. Where does Ororo normally live and who's in charge while she is gone?

It's actually really funny that you choose Ororo cause technically she is leader of the Uncanny(Extreme) sqaud that is like the International x team. She and they normally live in the mansion but they have bases scattered throughout the world.

She took a leave of absence from the X-Men recently to help out in Africa. So Nightcrawler is leading that team in her abscense.

I alluded to a three team division in the thread but I was intentionally vague to keep things open for anyone who potentially wanted to rp those guys.


I kinda just imagined it as:

Cyclops team(The senior teaching staff to the students at Xavier's)
Havok's team(More subversive X-Force like strike team)
Storm/Nightcrawler's team (X.S.E, international mutant policing force)


But the team lines aren't necessarily concrete.

Btw guys, sorry for things moving so slowly. The good news is that you at least know why Fantomex has done what he's done.

TRUST me, you'll appreciate the down time soon. Misfortune happens quickly...

OK, just to summarize and to highlight some stuff


A)Deadhand made a comment that suggests he might not be cut out of the hero mode in the slightest. I can think of one rper who may be interested in seeing if his views are closer to hisown than Xavier's...

B)Fantomex said what he wants from the X-Men. Essentially he's asking for help breaking into government institutions, stealing government property (which they themselves stole from Mister Sinister) and possibly even murder. It is implied but I will state it just so there's no confusion the world knows about the X-Men now and Fantomex is an internationally known thief and he is considered by America to be a terrorist. So whoever helps him themselves would be considered a terrorist and not a superhero (you would get the status of a person like the Punisher or Hulk instead of an Avenger)

C)Storm is back, everyone welcome Ithica!

D) The choice really is yours.

Do you help Fantomex or don't you?

What will be the consequence if you help him? What will it be if you don't?

What if some of you disagree? Hmmm....

Good Idea Screech. Hindsight 20-20 we should have started a OOC right off the bat but no biggie.

I'll just play out my little subplot SL until you get here. Perhaps some great timing on the Xmen part to help a Fellow mutant out.

With a name like Dead Hand I don’t know why anyone would question if you are a bad guy or not. If your name was Slightly Numb Hand or Sweaty Palm Guy, then I don't think that you would be questioned. Those are surely bad guy names and not as ambiguous as Dead Hand.

Ironically, your lack of involvement in the story so far is the perfect set up.

Not giving too much away, but something is about to happen that will require some of the "known" X-Men to take a backseat...but read away, there plenty of ways to tie you in...

Magma is about to be presented with a choice. While he's not consulted because he's not an X-Man, things are about to happen that may cause him to rethink his alliances...but the choice is yours...
