Hunters

Gender, Sexuality, and the Ability to become a Hunter:
  • Hunters are always heterosexual males.
  • The Hunter Ability is inherited from the father, whether or not that father had been an active Hunter or not.
Hunter Magic Ability:
  • Some Hunters can use Magic (further described in a section below).
    • This Magic can be an Innate Power with which they are born. Innate magic requires years to master.
    • Most Hunter Magic comes from Spells, Potions, and/or Charms (also described further below).
  • Hunter Magic is notinherited through the Hunter's father, though:
    • A Hunter's Magic, if he has it at all, comes from the mother.
    • The mother must have been a Spontánní čarodějnice -- Czech for "Spontaneous Witch" -- who are more often than not referred to as Dormants. (This is explained in the "Witches" page at the link that will be posted right here very shortly).
Physical Training:
  • Hunters train hard to increase their strength, endurance, dexterity, action/reaction time, etc..
  • They also train in Martial arts, hand-to-hand combat, and weapons handling.
  • A Hunter's defense against a Witch's attack is increased by his fitness and physical skills.
Hunting Witches can be solitary work ... or not:
  • Most Hunters more often than not work alone:
    • Reason one: Their numbers have been steadily dropping over the centuries, so finding help can be difficult.
    • Reason two: Concentrating too many Hunters in one location makes them easier to be Sensed by Witches (explained in the Witches page).
  • However, Hunters do have a Fraternal Organization: The Society.
    • It is dedicated to the discovery and elimination of Witches.
    • It offers training, intelligence, support, and financial assistance.
    • Society Hunters will often team up against the most powerful Witches and/or Covens (explained in the "Witches" page.)
    • Teaming up is more successful sometimes; other times, it can get more Hunters killed all at one time.
Churches and their secret roles:
  • Some religious organizations give assistance to Hunters and the Society.
  • They usually do this secretly, though.
  • Most organized religions won't confirm the existence of Witches and/or Hunters.
Basics of Hunter Magic:
  • The most powerful and successful Hunters employ Magic.
  • Hunter Magic is important to them.
  • But it is rare for a Hunter's Magic to be as powerful, let alone more powerful, than that of the Witch(es) for whom they are hunting.
  • Still, a Hunter's magic can be the difference between life and death, success and failure.
  • Hunter Magic can include Innate Powers, Spells, Potions, and/or Charms.
Spells:
  • Spells must be discovered/presented, learned, and practiced.
  • Repetition is vital to provide any sort of benefit to the Hunter.
  • Spells must be casted to work; they are not always on like an Innate Power or Charm (explained below).
  • Protection Spells:
    • These are the most important Spells.
    • They protect Hunters from Witch attacks, whether physical, magical, or both.
    • Protection Spell have a limited duration:
      • A young and/or inexperienced Hunter might only get seconds out of a Spell.
      • It can take years of consistent training to stretch a Protection Spell to more than even a minute.
    • Protection Spells casted by Hunters aren't nearly as powerful as those casted by Witches of even lesser age and experience.
    • Still, a Protection Spell can mean the difference between life and death.
  • Sensing Spells:
    • These are the next most important Spells.
    • They help a Hunter sense the presence of a Witch and then, possibly, locate her, too.
    • For more on this, see "Sensing a Witch" below.
  • Other Spells coming.
  • Hazards of using a Spell:
    • Immediately upon employing a Spell, a Hunter is more easily Sensed by Witches in his vicinity.
    • The stronger the Hunter's Magical Ability, the less danger there is for him being discovered.
    • The weaker the Witch's Magical Ability, again, the less danger there is for him being discovered.
    • But is rare for a Hunter to use a standard Sensing Spell near a Witch and not get sense, located, and possibly positively identified.
    • Employing a Spell should be held off until absolutely needed.
Potions:
  • Potions have many purposes, including but not limited to Protection.
  • Like Protection Spells, Potions take years of practice to learn to mix and deploy correctly and effectively.
  • And like Spells, Potions employed by Hunters aren't nearly as powerful as those employed by Witches with the same level of training.
  • Various spell descriptions coming.
  • Hazards to creating Potions:
    • Many of the ingredients for Potions are tracked by Witch Covens.
    • This is done specifically to identify and track Hunters.
    • Often, the proprietors of shops that create, collect, and/or sell such ingredients are vědomá spontánní čarodějnice, which is the Czech term describing a Dormant Witch who is aware that she is a Witch but who does not practice Witchcraft specifically to provide this intelligence gathering for practicing Witches.
    • Hunters will want to be inconspicuous and careful in their collection of these ingredients; or will want to research the proprietors of such shops to uncover these Domant Witches.
Charms:
  • Unlike Spells or Potions, the power/usefulness of Charms cannot be enhanced by a Hunter's training and/or experience with them. They are what they are, though, some are better than others.
  • Also, unlike a Spell or Potions, a Charm:
    • Does not need to be casted. It is always on, so long as it is upon the Hunter's person.
    • And it cannot be detected by a Witch until it is employed; its proximity to a Witch is moot.
"Sensing":
  • A Hunter can Sense a Witch's proximity and/or location through several methods:
    • Innate Power: Most Hunter's are born with this ability, though, it can take years of practice to use it successfully.
    • Spells, Potions, and Charms, as described above.
  • There are other factors that affect the ability to Sense a Witch:
    • Population Density: The more people in the Witch's area, the harder it is to both sense and locate her.
    • Distance: The farther away a Hunter is from a Witch, the harder it is to Sense her and, in turn, locate her.
    • The Witch's Innate Power, Spells, and Potions: these help the Witch hide herself
    • "Witchy" activity: if Magic is being used by a Witch(es), she is more easily Sensed.
    • And Level of Wickedness: some Witches use more wicked Magic, which makes them easier to Sense.
"This isn't a 9-5 job":
  • Being a true Hunter is a calling above all other callings.
    • Most Hunters put their all into their activities.
    • It sometimes gets in the way of career, relationships, recreation, even rest and relaxation.
  • They can rarely hold down a regular, 9-5 job.
    • They are often self-employed, doing whatever they can, whenever they can.
    • They sometimes get financial help from the Society.
    • Older, retired hunters -- those too injured or exhausted to continue Hunting -- may also help.

Witches

Origins of the Witch:
  • Witches of modern times originated in the Moravia region of the Czech Republic.
  • Their "origin story" is something I will write soon.
  • All Witches have an innate ability to speak the "Witchy" dialect of Czech, though, some never realize or use it.
Gender and Sexuality:
  • Their ability to use Magic is inherited from their mothers.
  • All Witches are polyamorous bisexuals:
    • Most Witches partake of other Witches or other females for their recreational sex.
    • Sex with males is typically part of their Evil doings, as described below in a section of the same name.
The Coven:
  • Most Witches are part of a Coven from birth.
  • The Coven -- like the Society for Hunters -- offers Witches training, protection, intelligence, financial support (if needed), and community.
  • A Coven is necessary for the conception of a "Witchy" child (described further below).
Conceiving a "Witchy" child:
  • A Witch can conceive a normal child the way any normal woman would: intercourse.
  • But to conceive a Witchy child -- which will always be female -- requires the participation of a Coven in the performance of the "Obřad početí".
    • Obřad početí literally means "conception ceremony" in the Witchy dialect of the Old Czech language.
    • The Obřad početí is akin to an orgy but involves only one male -- the sperm donor -- and a Coven of Witches.
    • The higher the number of Witches in the participating Cover the better.
    • A higher number means a more likely conception and a more powerful Witch-to-be in the future.
  • Witch pregnancies without the Obřad početícan often result in horrifically painful miscarriages and, sometimes, death of the Witch mother-to-be.
Longevity:
  • Magic can give Witches long lives, sometimes centuries in length.
    • The majority of practicing Witches live to be at least 500 years of age.
    • Only a fraction of Witches reach the age of 1,000
    • The oldest known Witch was over 1,800 years in age:
      • Ellomee the Elder was hunted down and killed by an army of more than 400 Hunters.
      • She took more than half them with her during the month-long battle.
  • Simply having Magic extends the lifespan somewhat.
  • But it is necessary to actually practice Magic regularly to get the most benefit.
  • A practicingWitch can:
    • Push her age to appear older. This is taxing and takes great power and energy.
    • Pull her age to appear younger. Again, taxing and energy consuming.
    • And Stall her age where it is. This requires practicing but takes less taxing and requires less energy than pushing or pulling age.
Physical Appearance:
  • In addition to being able to change/choose their age, Witches are able to change/choose their appearance.
  • As with pushing/pulling/stalling their age, this is taxing on the system and requires great energy.
  • However, it is inherent in Witches to naturally grow up attractive and even very sexy.
  • They can, if they wish, take on a less attractive appearance, if it serves a purpose.
  • The Witch at the center of our story, Chloe, is obviously a very attractive and sexy woman.
"Restoration" (aka reincarnation):
  • Very powerful, very old Witches can be restored, or reincarnated.
  • They don't even have to die to do this but can simply have their consciousness transferred to another body.
  • The recipient of the Witch's consciousness must be a non-Practicing Dormant (explained further below).
  • It takes a Coven to perform the Restoration, which is one of the reasons Witches join Covens, if for no other reason.
Magical Abilities:
  • These include most of the normal Witchy powers, which I'm not going to go into now because it's 5am and I haven't slept yet.
Training:
  • Again, we'll discuss this later.

Dormant Witches (aka Spontánní čarodějnice, or "Spontaneous Witch")
  • A Dormant is a Witch who:
    • Wasn't born of the Obřad početí (explained below).
    • Doesn't practice Magic.
    • And most likely doesn't even know she's a Witch.
  • They are sometimes called Spontánní čarodějnice-- Czech for "Spontaneous Witch" -- because:
    • They seem to occur spontaneously.
    • Only a few of the oldest and most powerful Witches understand how this comes to happen.
    • And only a few of these old, powerful Witches can predict or anticipate a Spontánní čarodějnice.
  • How a Dormant comes to be is yet to be described (so hold your fucking horses, mate! ;))
  • Dormants are important to Hunters, as described in the next section.
Dormant Witches are also hunted by Hunters
  • Ironically, Hunters can sometimes more easily locate and identify a Spontánní čarodějnicethan can other Witches.
    • Hunters have Spells and Charms that help with this.
    • Additionally, older and highly experienced Hunters have an innate ability to Sense a Dormant.
  • If a Hunter identifies a Dormant, he can simply kill her.
  • But breedingwith her is the goal!
    • A Hunter's Magical Ability comes from his mother's line -- from a Dormant.
    • A Dormant who produces a child with a Hunter losed her Magical Ability forever.
    • And the child -- if he grows up to become a Hunter -- has Magical Ability.
Being a Witch is not a 9-5 job either:
  • Very few Witches hold down normal, regular jobs.
  • Some have businesses or careers in which they use their Magic in one way or another.
  • Most, however, do whatever they want, whenever they want, using their Magic to survive and sometimes thrive.
Witches are Wicked, aren't they?
  • Oh, yeah. They're Wicked. Simple answer.
  • There is an innate need in most Witches to cause mayhem, pain, and destruction.
  • This stems from the understanding that their Magical Abilities are enhanced by this Wickedness.
  • No one knows why this is true, but it is true none the less.
  • It is believed to stem back to the Origin Story of Witches (which I am still to explain, so again, hold your horses! Jeez!)

Good versus Bad

It's the old story of "Good versus Bad", "Wonderful versus Wicked":
  • The general public doesn't know about the fight between Hunters and Witches.
  • If they did, they would definitely say that Hunters are good and Witches are bad.
  • Hunters believe that they are Good and that Witches are bad, therefore it is their duty to kill the bad Witches.
  • At the same time, most Witches believe that they are good and -- to protect themselves -- they must kill the badHunters.
    • Witches know that the mayhem and destruction they cause is bad.
    • But they also know that it is necessary to enhance their Magical Ability.
    • It's not their fault that it is that way. It's just nature.
    • Some Witches don't like causing this mayhem and destruction, while others revel in it.
  • For the record, Chloe is sort of in between the two.

History Between Our Characters

Chloe and her history with our Hunter:
  • Although our Hunter might not know this at the beginning of the story, Chloe has a history with our Hunter's paternal line.
  • Earlier in her life, Chloe had killed both his father and his grandfather.
  • More coming on this.

Chloe Devine
  • Birth name: Alžběta Svoboda.
  • Birthplace: the Moravia region of the Czech Republic.
  • Birth year: 1112 (she is 913 years old as of 2025).
Physical Appearance as Chloe Devine (not the original Alžběta Svoboda, who doesn't yet have an image):
  • Full body image, Upper body image
  • 5'6", 119#; 34B-23-34
  • Slim, tight body; gravity-defying tits, ever-pert nipples, tight apple-shaped ass, flat and narrow waist, and athletic legs.
  • Her face is flawless, with an exotic shape and perfect, pouty, kissable lips
  • Her hair is dark blonde and appears as if she treats it, but via Magic, it remains the same length, color, texture, etc., at all times; if it gets damaged or even mussed, she can magically repair/style it with little effort.
The Restoration of Alžběta Svoboda's (aka reincarnation)
  • Witches can use their powers to make themselves younger. This is called Tahání, or Pulling.
    • It takes a lot of Innate Power and, more often than not, the Magic of Spells, Potions (particularly), and/or Charms.
    • It can also give a Witch a Magická aura -- Magical aura, just like it looks in Czech -- which can attract Hunters who might not otherwise Sense them.
    • Pulling is typically followed by days or sometimes weeks of isolation to prevent detection by Hunters.
  • Another way is through the process called Obnovení, or the Restoration (described at a link I am going to put here asap).
    • Through the Obnoveni, a Witch can transfer their duše, or their soul, to a new body.
    • This body must be that of a Spontánní čarodějnice, a "Spontaneous Witch", also called a Dormant. (A link will be placed here soon.)
  • Alžběta Svoboda has replaced her original body with 6 new bodies, called Vessels or Loď in Czech.
  • Her different Loď and the years in which she occupied them, including her original body, are:
    • Alžběta Svoboda: 1112 to ????
    • (unnamed as of yet): ???? to ????
    • (unnamed as of yet): ???? to c.1600s
    • Ellsbeth Perkins: late 1600s to 1865 (see this post)
      • She lived during the Salem Witch Trials without ever being accused of Witchcraft.
      • She lived through the turbulent 18th and 19th centuries of the British American Colonies and the newly born United States of America.
      • She became a "Southern Belle" in the early 1800s:
        • She had a plantation in the South with over 300 slaves.
        • Because she did not age between the early- and mid-1800s, many people thought she was a Witch.
      • She used the Civil War to cause Mayhem, reenergizing herself as needed.
      • Hunters caught up with her near the end of the Civil war:
        • She expended a great deal of Magical Energy in a fight to stay alive.
        • She partook of the Obnovení rather than try to Pull her current Loď back into the youthful condition that it had been in already.
    • (unnamed as of yet): 1865 to 1918
      • She had returned to Europe during and following World War 1 to more easily partake of Mayhem there.
      • She operated as an intelligence agent for several nations over the course of the war: England, Germany, France, and the United States.
      • Then after the War ended, she got in the middle of the Russian Civil War as well.
      • Soon, with the growing use of photography by Governments to more easily track down traitors, she decided to partake of the Obnovení again.
    • Monique DeClercq: 1918 to 1969
      • This had been a hard period for her, with Hunters tracking her down several times and nearly killing her twice.
      • She took a lot of physical damage, using her Magical powers simply to keep herself alive and leaving little to Pull her age to the mid-20s that she preferred.
      • By the time she decided to partake of the Obnovení and found a suitable Loď , she had taken on the appearance of a 70 year old.
    • Chloe Devine: 1969 to present.
      • Chloe Devine was a 26-year-old student at Berkley who had been active in the anti-Vietnam War Movement.
      • Her activities had mostly been peaceful civil disobedience.
      • Then, she partook of the bombing of an Army Recruitment Center in which a janitor was inadvertently killed.
      • Fearful of being identified, she went into hiding, never realizing that the people hiding her were Witches of the Daughters of Brno Coven.
      • After the Obnovení, "Chloe" relocated to New York City simply to put distance between her and the Loď 's previous life.
      • Chloe hadn't been the beautiful, sexy creature you see in her picture:
        • At only 5'6" tall, she'd been almost 170 pounds with sagging, C-cup tits.
        • She had a noticeable scar from a cleft lip surgery that she'd undergone just days after her birth.
        • After arriving at a Daughter's central-New York State safe house, she spent 3 weeks basically sitting in a dark, damp, dingy basement with her Spells, Potions, Charms, and -- of course -- Innate Powers improving upon the woman's body.
Coven Membership:
  • Alžběta, as she is officially known within her Witchy community, is a member of the Daughters of Brno Coven (DBC).
  • It originated in the Czech City of Brno in the 3rd century BC.
  • She herself was born in the Year 1112.
  • Chloe -- as we call her in the story -- is one of the oldest Witches in the DBC's North American population:
    • Only three out of the current 200 members of the DBC are older than Chloe.
    • She is considered a Ženský vůdce matriarchátu-- a Matriarch -- she gets away with stuff that other Witches wouldn't:
    • She tends to sometimes ignore the wishes and demands of the Matriarchální rada, the Matriarchal Council.
    • She takes chances with causing Mayhem (explained more here).
    • And she likes to toy with Hunters, rather than call for backup from the DBC, hunt the Hunters, and kill them outright.

Czech Words and Phrases
From the World of
Witches and Hunters

Old Czech:
  • Witches originated in the Moravia region of the Czech Republic.
  • Their "origin story" has not yet been explained but will be soon.
  • It is presumed but not known fact that the first Hunters originated in the Moravia Region or came from elsewhere.
  • Regardless, Hunters adopted the same Old Czech language for their business of hunting Witches.
"Witch" words:
  • Čarodějnice: "Witch."
  • Čarodějky začínající: "Novice Witches".
    • Začínající: "Novice."
  • Ženský vůdce matriarchátu -- "Matriarch"; the most powerful of Witches, typically also the oldest in a Coven.
    • Matka -- "Mother"; the highest ranking Martriarch in a Coven.
    • At the time of this writing, Tereza is the Matka of the Daughters of Brno Coven, with Chloe nominally her successor.
Občanská válka: "Civil War" (between Witches)

The Conception Ceremony (for birthing new Witches): (For a description of the Ceremony, click here.)
  • Obřad početí -- "Conception Ceremony".
  • Požehnaná nastávající matka -- "Blessed Mother-to-be"
  • Požehnaný -- "Blessed", the shorter term for the "Blessed Mother-to-be.
Dormant Witches: (For a description, click here; btw, this description is finished yet.)
  • Spontánní čarodějnice -- "Spontaneous Witch"
  • There are more related words coming soon.
Hunters, the Society, and more: (For a description, click here (not yet, sorry.)
  • Lovec čarodějnic: "Witch Hunter"
  • Lovec "Hunter"
Mayhem (aka Zmatek)
  • The confusion and madness caused by Witches as a way of reenergizing their Innate Magical Energy.
  • For a good example, see Post #1 and the posts that follow it, in which Chloe caused a near riot in Springfield's Waterfront Park. te Zmatek reenergized her, and during the Mayhem, she stole wallets, purses, jewelry, and cash to support herself.

The Obřad početí
or
"Conception Ceremony"

(Still working on this)
  • The Obřad početí is akin to an orgy: one male -- the sperm donor -- a Coven of Witches, and the Požehnaný.
  • The power of the future Witchthe Obřad početí, the better the chance that a powerful Witch will be conceived.
  • Conception without the Obřad početíhas consequences:
    • A Magic-capable female child -- a future Witch -- is impossible.
    • It can often result in horrifically painful miscarriages and sometimes the death of the Požehnaný.
    • If the Požehnaný ceases using her Magic:
      • She will more often than not enjoy a healthy pregnancy.
      • Upon the birth of her child, the Požehnaný will permanently lose her Innate Powers and, as a result, most of the power of her Spells, Potions, and Charms.
      • If she birth's a female child, more often than not, it will be a Dormant, described further below.

NOT AT ALL FINISHED. STILL WORKING ON IT.

Dormant Witches: (aka Spontánní čarodějnice, or "Spontaneous Witch")

Gia
  • Birth name: (unknown)
  • Birthplace: (unknown).
  • Birth year: (unknown, but at least a handful of centuries; she's relatively powerful)
Physical Appearance:
Personality:
  • She prefers gaining her Mayhem boost to her Innate Power Reserves by drawing blood.
  • In her first act in the RP, she sliced a Hunter open with a curved blade, jammed the knife up into his chest to cut his heart in two, then pulled half of that heart out to squeeze it between long-nailed fingers ... something that caused her to essentially explode in Magical ecstasy. (Her next victim she only shot ... 14 times as she cried out in further ecstasy!
  • Like most Witches, she is pansexual; she doesn't give a rat's ass from where her pleasure comes, as long as it cums.
Place in the continuing story:
  • Gia is very much a supplicant of Alžběta Svoboda (aka Chloe Devine).
    • Gia doesn't like the limitations placed on the relatively younger Witches by the older Witches of the Daughters of Brno Cover.
    • She likes that Chloe engages in Mayhem that is more fun ... like the Waterfront Mayhem in the story's opening posts.
  • She will continue to partake of the actions set forth by Chloe without hesitation.
  • She will engage in any sexual situation in which Chloe places her, even those that might involved danger.

Helena
  • Birth name: (unknown)
  • Birthplace: (unknown).
  • Birth year: (unknown, but at least a handful of centuries; she's relatively powerful)
Physical Appearance:
Personality:
  • She prefers gaining her Mayhem boost to her Innate Power Reserves through sex, especially through Hunters, preferably not while under a Spell, though that is very, very rare.
  • Once upon a time (beginning here at where the link to "Helena" is):
    • We learn that sometime in the near past (exact date unspecified but most likely in the past 5-10 years), Helena and a Hunter named Oliver Simpson met face-to-face.
    • She used her Magic to seduce him (in an incident that has not been explained).
    • They met this second time in the lobby of the Springfield General Hospital during Chloe's exfiltration of Connor.
    • This time, the sheer anxiety Simpson felt upon seeing her caused him to submit to her.
    • She seduced him again, forcing him to finger her to orgasm.
    • After she came down from her orgasm, Helena put Simpson to sleep with a spell and left him collapsed there on the hospital lobby floor.
    • The spell will cause him to think of her every time he gets sexually excited for months, possibly years (unless Magic is used to cast out the Spell).
Place in the continuing story:
  • Helena is not necessarily a supplicant of Alžběta Svoboda (aka Chloe Devine) as much as Gia is, but -- so long as it won't bring her trouble with the Daughters of Brno Coven, she will follow Chloe.
  • Like with Gia, she likes the way Chloe engages in Mayhem, though, she prefers getting her Innate Power Boost through sex. will continue to partake of the actions set forth by Chloe without hesitation.
  • I'm thinking that she will continue to search for, locate, and seduce Oliver Simpson.
