Oh wyld, a "stroke" of genius! Well worth the time and encouragement all us girls gave you, so you could finally get it up! Your post I mean! Okay okay, I know that's getting old, but couldn't resist.

I think storywise, it'd be best to continue with the escape, upto and including Cassie texting and responding to billy's texts? What does everyone else think? Or if people prefer, Darla could go torment the prisoners, and Billy ? I don't mind one way or the other? Or another idea was an escape attempt? I'm conscious that Brianna has been stuck for a long time now- I had vagely thought Darla might bring her for a swim in the lake? She could try escape? Or that can wait til later?

Just some ideas!

I'm happy for Billy to recover a bit and start rampaging again, after all he hasn't had a taste of brianna or indeed darla since he acquired a new inner self Or he can keep nursing his hangover and what he likes to call a conscience and wait to hear from Cassie.

I say he hears from Cassie first. We should probably let the two interact. Then maybe the trio, Billy, Darla, and Cassie, could then take Brianna and/or Evan down to the lake for a little swim.

Hope all is well with every one. I was just going to say that the Cassie / Carson interlude is going on for almost 3 weeks now. I was wondering, if you might bring it to a point where you can park it for a bit, and we can move on with the cabin?? Of if you both feel it needs to move on for another while, to get it to that point, before too much longer, as, the longer the other part of the story is parked, the harder it is to continue, cos you have to go a read back over so much, to recall where its at!!

Sorry, Sally...know the story kinda was on hold for a little while. Been trying to remedy that a bit today to get things moving again...I think 2 or three more posts to get James and Cassie on the move and on the road should cover it.

Just have to have them gather up what they need for James's house, and also, I think i may have James go through Cassie's personal effects without her knowledge, seeings he hasn't mentioned them to her yet...and then give them to Cassie, after he questions her about what he finds on the cell phone...the text Billy left her.

Whether she does so on the lap top or holds out until they reach an internet cafe depends on how she feels about James.

I'm assuming that the cash she came with would have been seized, unless James managed to get hold of that ... it would have been in a money belt or hidden in someway.. lining of her bag maybe?

Sorry about the confusion there...made an assumption on the cell phone, but now that you mention it, it wouldn't have made sense, cause they could have tracked it if they'd recovered one. Kudos to you, hun, for pointing that out for me. One of the big reasons I like the fact we can brainstorm and discuss these things.

As for the cash, it's fine if you have it hidden away in the lining of her bag/purse or whatever...i can see Cassie doing something like that, and when she first got brought in, they hadn't realized she was a criminal right away, so it probably was never searched thoroughly, beings James got to it before the FBI guys did. The money is probably still there.

Trying to move the action on ... if Cassie can get to the texts and send some herself ...

Just hoping James lets her, or else we do have a stand off.
I don't think she's wanting to betray Billy or Darla, but she is vulnerable right now .. and Billy has been a total !!!!! .
