ok,here it is,hope people join and enjoy
.......imagine a world,lush and full of life,without the corruption and greed of most places,peaceful and prosperous.a place where there is no crime,and there are no poor or hungry.War is nonexistant,and there is no need for an army.Hard to believe?yes,it does seem imposssible.of course nothing is as it seems,for if you head just past this place,towards the setting sun,you will come to the Blight.It spreads and grows further into this peaceful place,turning those close enough into beings that wish the oppostite of what this fair land is at the moment,and bring the first signs of evil returning.The people continue on with their lives,content still,believing that their peace will never end.This land sits on a large island,with the western part facing the more worse storms and winds.From this the Blight spreads.It slowly expands,a gray expanse of withered land wich grows mroe each day.from it,creatures not seen on the island for thousands of years step out into the prosperous and ungaurded lands.Still,people ignore the fact,except a few,who will soon leave towards the Blight to find what is creating it.

description:hlaf-elf raised by humans and elves.When he staye dwith his human relatives,he studied in aincent civilization and fighting with the staff.With his elven relatives,he learned the workings of nature and herblore,along with archery.He tends to be quiet,but friendly.He starts out heading towards the Blight,with good supplies to last him awhile.

OOC: I registered on the discussion board but for some reason I can't log-in so until I get it taken care of I have to post as "unregistered." I really liked your character and your story so far. I made up a character to join in so here it is.

Physical Description: Male, 5'6", 190lbs., black hair, brown eyes, 5-o-clock shadow, semi-muscular build, leather pants and boots, black vest, black cape with hood
Weapons: Wooden staff about a meter in length with 2 blades that can come in or out of the staff
Character Disposition/Background: Very wary of strangers, likes to be alone, abandoned by his parents at a young age, raised by an old hunter that lived in the forest, since the hunter died Wrath has been wandering from place to place, Wrath has noticed the Blight spreading and looks down on the people who refuse to recognize it yet he feels compelled to try to do something to stop it

I have someone else that is going to join when she thinks of a good character. She said she will maybe be evil. I don't know.

This looks like it could be interesting so I thought I'd join in. I didn't go real in-depth with a character since I wasn't sure where the story would be going. Let me know if mine is ok.

Name: Felicia
Age: 20
Description: 5'3", 120 lbs, dark red hair, brown eyes. She is pretty shy. She grew up with her father on their farm in the country and therefore didn't have a lot of contact with others. Her mother died due to complications from Felicia's birth very shortly after having her. Since she was the only child her mother had she took on the role typically given to sons of helping her father with taking care of the farm and wasn't able to do normal childhood things. Felicia had heard talk of the blight coming from some of the other farmers around but wasn't quite sure of what exactly it was or what it would do.
Weapons: None (I couldn't think of why she would have weapons or what she would have if she did)

I know that's a bit broad, I figured she could join in the group going to the blight whenever it fit into the story.

Ok hers my idea for the bad guy let me know if it’s ok or not

Name: has had many and no one knows his true name but now they call him Death shadow
Age: the exact age is unknown all that any one knows is he was old when the shadow was driven from the lands.
Aperients: 6’6 195 pounds he looks skinny and frail looking but his stronger then most ogres and faster then any mortal eye can fallow, Thick glossy black hair black depthless eyes no whites and to look in to his eyes is to look in to evil incarnate to loose your self in fear, his skin is pail sickly looking but he moves with cat like grace.
Personality’ loves to watch people dye slow and painfully his not trust worthy but he’s good at making you trust him any way.
Powers: his a vampire necromaser

Past: he was alive and old when the evil was pushed from the lands so many years ago but he was not defeated he just gather power to him self learning the dark arts of necromancy as he defeated the other evil lords taking there armies for him self and growing ever more power full for every time he brot down one of his rivals not only did he clam their armies but he clamed the dead of the fallen in the battles. Now that he has gained control of the dark forces under his iron hand he is reedy to start his push to the lads where he was exiled from for his revenge and to rule the world for ever.

name:Beast(im horrible with thinking up names:s)
age:26 years
height:14ft.6in.on hind legs,8'at shoulder on all fours.
description:A Huge Minataur-like creature named only as Beast.He was incredibly strong and is also a brilliant military strategist.He commanded the Dark Legion Army until the defeat of Evil so long ago.When he was defeated,he became a huge stone statue of black rock,never to fight until once more the Blight returned to him.He awoke a long time later,finding most of the original Evil Lords defeated,Death Shadow in control of a massive army,he decided to serve him.He currently controls the new Dark Legion,wich has nearly 3x the original's size and power.
