In a few days I should have enough time to join one thread and I was thinking of starting my own. I have two ideas but I'd like some suggestions on how to advance the plot.
The first idea is set in the Star Wars universe. A slaver ship sets it's eyes on a pirate ship, thinking it's a regular cargo vessel. They attack and after the pirates beat them handily they're stuck with a cargo of slaves trained in the arts of pleasure. The three pirates can't decide what to do. The captain wants to stop at a Hutt world and sell the cargo off, but his two crewmen, the pilot and the mechanic, are morally opposed to slavery and will mutiny, or strike rather, if they do that. They can't bring them to a republic world because the pilot is wanted for a crime he didn't commit. Normally they'd just slaughter the slaver crew and give the ship to the girls, but as pleasure slaves they aren't trained to fly a starship.
I also can't decide if the slavers should be killed or not. Perhaps one of the girls is kidnapped royalty. Maybe two jedi n the trail of the slavers or the pilot show up.
The captain is a 200 year old human who is the last survivor of a genetic experiment that allows him to exist in vacuum and designed a number of features that help him in combat capital ship sabotage. The faction that created him was defeated by the jedi centuries ago and now he's a pirate captain.
His mechanic is a wookie who has a life debt to him.
The pilot was an up and coming starfighter pilot who got tossed out of the republic defense fleet and framed for a crime he didn't commit.

For the superhero story I'd be playing a superstrong, invulnerable, rather fast villain. While he can't run at the speed of sound his superstrength makes him amazingly fast, able to run at 35-40 mph, and leap incredible distances. He gets his abilities from absorbing all forms of energy and rechannelling through his body.
In this world superpowers are rare and most people dismiss them as myth. But this villain will be one of the first superpeople to go public. An extraordinary man with ordinary desires, after his parents die in a car accident he has no reason to stay hidden and decides to take what he wants. His criminal activities catch the eye of an underworld kingpin who tries to kill him then to recruit him to steal an undisclosed item in a safe from a business skyscraper.
I'll take suggestions from there.
