Silver balls are from Phantasm. Basically hard to hit as ther are only 2-3 inches across and they drill into a person and rip them apart from the inside. If they hit your head they can drill in and pump your blood from your body or drill into your brain. They are sweet looking until they kill you. Saw blades. Drill. Explosive. Razor sharp blades. Etc...

And technically Angela is a Vampire and no longer human...

I was thinking Angela is an undead human. So she was still human... she is a human with the "vampire" illness or curse on her. But I'm cool with going either way. So if she became human... and was in the middle of all those spells is she dead? or if she is still alive... what can she do? Is she back to her orginal human form?

I'd say back to human form. Stunned from the spells and injured. But not dead. And she'd have a soul. Which she believed she doesn't have.

I'm not sure what to do next in the Sinegard Academy Thread. Some ideas are:
1) They find a powerful demon kill weapon in the endless maze
2) They figure out why the planar shift spell did not work or someone tells them why it did not work
3) The mystery person or Ravyn's father shows up to get Ravyn
4) ??

All of those would work, and Magdalena's Spear is a Holy demon killing weapon. Her swords are lesser versions. they can't kill powerful demons but they can hurt them.

There is a stone/metal mage eater inside the vault. The trick is their magical weapons do no damage. Only non-magic weapons work. See Link.

Great place to pick up a magic items or sword... whatever any of your character's need. Angela will be finding a "blade of the sun god" here. Kill demons even when they are not in hell... and grows more powerful more things it kills.

My thought was Baphomet was holding their souls in this hell to make sure their would not just run off and not complete their promised quest to him. However, there are other ways he can pull them back to his maze... if they don't comply.

I say all this because the magical manor is technically "another dimension". How do you want to play this? Their soul stay with heroes or they (the heroes) notice the souls leaving?

id say the souls remain with them. although a pocket dimension they can't exit into a new dimension, they have to go back to the dimension they entered from.
