OOC: Shadowrun (question, not role call)

I was just wondering if there are ever any Shadowrun RP games on here. I've been looking for them every couple of weeks or so, but can't remember me ever seeing one. Are there any active Shadowrun forms on here?

I know a little about it, and I'd be willing to join a Shadowrun thread if you started one though. I'd need to know a lot of stuff though.

Do a search for the word "Shadowrun". there was one, quite a while back, we had it all set up, had characters, bio's, plot, preparations, and everything, but the thread starter bailed before the actual thread started, and everybody else scattered to the winds.

i think Shadowrun would make a great thread in this envirnment. the game world is as chaotic as this place, so if someone were to dissapear for a while, it would be no big deal. Im actually running a Shadowrun pen and paper game with my group right now. love the system.

Regretfully I only know how to play the game from a player's perspective, and not a GM's, otherwise I would consider starting a game on here. I've been re-reading the rulebook, but still get quite confused over some issues. Perhaps in a few weeks, if I can grasp the game a bit better than I will consider starting a Lit game of SR.

However if anyone else out there wants to voulenteer to run the SR game, I would have no problem handing the reins over to them and being a simple player. Any takers on that offer?

i might be interested in running a shadowrun game, but i dont think i could handle another thread right now... im not sure... ill have to see how much time my current threads will take up before i pick up another one...

just out of curiousity, what version (if any) are you all familiar with, second or third? i have most of the important books for third edition (with the exception of the Shadowrun Companion, which i cannot find anywhere).

i've been playing both the first and the second edition of shadowrun, but mostly the second one.
just so you guys know it my english arent that goos since im swedish and it isnt my native language so plz have some patiense with the lack of my lingua skills when it comes to the english language.
it justed to be a lot better but i broke up with my g/f in texas 6 years ago and after that i really didnt have much of a reason to use english on a daily basis but it will come back to me, just give me some and it'll get a better eventually.
