OOC - Pole position (OPEN - Female players preferred, for now)

I'm looking to start a new thread, based around a Motor Racing Team.

I would prefer it to be mostly female crew, as required by the racing formula we compete in.

I would play Mark Campbell, Team Manager and co-driver, but other roles needing filling would be:

• Lead Driver
• Pit Crew Chief / Chief Mechanic
• Medic / Administrator

As these roles and the inevitable interplay need players who are comfortable with playing bisexual roles, if you are a guy, for now, feel free to register your interest, but I will have to see how the thread continues.

Please also provide info about your character including, but not limited to:
1. Name
2. Age
3. Appearance (Hair, eyes, race, build, how you dress when not at the track)
4. Which country you come from - doesn't have to be RL, either.

Chief Mechanic
Name: Samantha Cadence (Sam for short)
Age: 26
Appearance: Sam has long hair, brown with a strong hint of blue and bright blue eyes. She's been fairly involved with sports throughout her life so she's fairly fit. As the Chief Mechanic she tends to get pretty dirty, so she invests a lot in spare clothing. While at the track she can be seen wearing a dark green jacket with logo on the arm, and matching kargo pants. Underneath her jacket she has a black sleeveless t-shirt. When she isn't at her job she usually wears grubby/comfortable clothes: t-shirt, jeans, hat, etc.
Bio: Sam was born into an "all-American" family. Her father was a prominent baseball player, and her mother had some experience on the softball field. Sam has 1 older sibling, but Sam decided to lead a different life. She still went the athetic route, but she was enamoured with automobiles, and especially the race track. (They're making a left turn!) She's been involved with it ever since.

35 year old

5ft 8 medium build

short blonde hair

tends to wear smart suit or skirt and blouse at work but when relaxing just like most women I like jeans and t-shirt/shirt. only thing consistent with dress code is underwear.......has to be matching.

Being a doctor now for around 10 years felt this was the time to leave the hospital environment. A slightly more personal work base just a few select people to know and work with. No shifts and a chance to travel. Scotland has only so much potential you can explore before you reach the sea. Would be nice to get away from all that rain too.

I just love meeting people, trying new things and with any luck I would be able to combine the two. My love of motor racing started when my ex took me to Knockhill circuit, in Fife for the touring cars races years ago and I had been hooked ever since. Fascinated as to why people wanted to take part in this dangerous sport, risking life and limb for entertainment and honour.

Thats why I had volunteered as part of the medical crew there for their meets. Let me get down amongst those involved and also the type of injuries that became common........the broken bones, whiplash, crush injuries and of course concussion. I really hoped I got the job with team Freya..would be the perfect opportunity to start afresh after my divorce.

BIO:John has been building race engines for the last 10 years. Currently the chief engine builder and a track mechanic/pit crew member for Andretti-Greene racing, a dominant force in the United States IRL and open wheel racing circuits. His ability to assemble a reliable engine that produces the maximum amount of horsepower and torque has made him a wanted man among the other teams. He's recieved several offers, but none of them gave him a good enough reason to leave.

As a hobby, he has assembled quite a selection of antique carswhich he has restored himself. Mostly street rods, but a couple to original condition. It's an expensive hobby, but it's worth it see the old cars brought back from the grave.

Bio: Kendra had been racing since her teens. She got involved during high school. Usually beating out the other guys. She had a nack for it. Speed was what she loved.

Her father had been a driver so she had learned from the best. She took over racing for him when he retired but the neww boss only saw Kendra as a piece of ass. He didn't take he serious.

Don't get her wrong she loved sex, she also wanted to be taken seriously for her racing. She was good and deserved it. That's why she was looking elsewhere to drive. She had to get somewhere where she would be used for her skills not just her looks.
