I understand. I think a mutiny is the only thing possible, because the other ships have moved out and far up the coast. If he'd gotten you guys out of that cove sooner you'd be able to catch up, but they have one or two maybe three days on you. I'm not sure. Jack's character is waiting for Babette's to get to the islands, so you would be closer to intercepting Babette's boat, or... stumbling across the group as you plunder crippled ships.

You could and again, only a suggestion, make one long post and do the mutiny and catch up in one sweep. Then you are with everyone, or at least a day behind if you write it that way, then no RP'ing by yourself. Or invite another person to write with you.

Richard was an orphan who found his way on the docks of Italy, although he's not of Italian descent. He took work on board a ship when he was 8. The ship was promptly attacked by pirates, and destroyed. He was taken prisoner. The captain couldn't execute a child, so ge offered the boy his freedom. The boy chose to stay aboard. And a pirate was born.

Richard is more at home on the sea than land, and he swims like a fish.
