I was a wonderin' if anyone would be interested in starting a thread based on the Barry Gifford Novel and David Lynch movie "Wild at Heart"
It's basically a story about a couple, Sailor and Lula, that travel from Cape Fear to Texas on their way to California. If the thread starts and continues, I wouldn't mind letting their adventures continue all the way to California.
The major players are
Sailor Ripley (played by me)
Lula Fortune - Sailor's girlfriend
Marietta Pace Fortune - Lula's Mom
Johnnie Farragut - Marietta's Boyfriend / seedy private detective
Marcello Santos - A local Gangster
Bobby Peru - A hired hitman of Santos - ex-marine
Perdita Durango - Bobby's woman - mexican - also partime hitwoman
Cousin Dell - Lula's Freaky ass cousin
That's all I could remember, more suggestions are welcomed.
Besides the major players, at each stop we will need people to play maids, waiters(esses), anything else. I figure these parts could be played by a couple people who like to change characters and don't like to be stuck into one character.
The adventure would start out at Cape Fear with several locals including : The Cape Fear Hotel, the bar The Hurricane, and any of the major players residences, etc.
The next stops are Biloxi, New Orleans, Big Tuna ....
Anybody interested in attempting this ..... please give me a shout out.
