OOC: New Heroes (Invitation Only)

Hi, if your reading this you have been invited by me to this thread/game.

I dont know about yopu guys, but i am getting fed up of these big teams we get and as such i am looking into doing a small team of four heroes. These heroes will belong to either the Marvel or Dc Universe.

We get to make up our own powers, but i dont want us to be invulnerable, we are a group of heroes who have recently gained their powers.

For Example if we were in the Marvel universe we could have for example a group consisting of...

A Mutant.
An Asgardian.
An Inhuman.
Ect.

In a DC Universe...
A speedster.
an alien
An atlantean
an magician

So ok, I have invited you and so i want you to answer 2 questions....

1. Are you in?
2. Which Universe should we set our game in? Marvel or DC?

Ok, so are characters going to be friends and all get different powers (like the fantastic four?)

Name: Radu Kaeron
Secret Identity: Shadow Wolf
Age: 25-ish (looks more like 21)
Powers: Radu has several abilities that seem to be unique (though he refuses to tell anyone whether they are inborn or acquired). Among them are the ability to stop a moment in time, as he puts it. Essentially, it involves slipping slightly out of phase with the rest of the universe. Unfortunately, he can only maintain it for about two seconds, and can't actually do any travelling through time with it. It's useful for getting out of tight spots, but it requires a moment of absolute clarity to do. He is also several times stronger than a normal human, as well as several times faster, though he can't use both at the same time, and with better reflexes. The speed is similar to that of a cheetah, and lasts about as long. However, he has been known to jokingly boast that no one has lasted the full sixty seconds before (almost as if he's begging for that to happen). His only other useful gift, that hasn't been acquired through training in combat, is a rather odd knowledge of the past and many dead languages. (not too much, is it?)

Weaknesses: his phasing ability requires time to achieve the right state of mind, and only lasts two seconds once used. also, anyone who can move even one quarter of the speed of light will still appear to be moving, albeit at a slower pace (which increases to normal (for the runner) the closer to lightspeed the runner gets). his running speed only lasts for about a minute, making it more of a sprint.

Appearance: Radu has long black hair, in an odd, feathered, wolfy look (think Luna's hair after reverting from a transformation in Alpha Luna), green eyes, and a medium build. not overly muscular, but welldefined, considering his abilities. usually dressing in a set of black cargo pants with lots of pockets, a black shirt, anklelength leather coat (also with lots of pockets) and leather boots, with an amulet in the shape of his namesake, a black wolf, around his neck. He also carries a sword he made.

Personality: like a wolf, Radu tends to be pensive and thoughtful, except in battle. it's very rare for him to be anything but demonic when it comes to fighting. outside of battle, he often confuses others with his knowledge of the past. even he's not quite sure how he knows most of what he knows. his earliest actual memories are of laying curled up in the depths of an old shrine, hidden from a massive storm as a child.

History: not much is known about his past, except for what he reveals about his life. He remembers his mother, but not his father. He grew up with a respect for nature rivalling that of the ancient Druidic priests, and loves animals (though not all of them return the love). He found out about his powers by accident, while protecting a young girl from a gang of thugs that intended to rape her. All of the thugs ended up in the hospital, and only one of them conscious, though babbling nonsense. Once he learned to control them, he decided to become a superhero or sorts. Well, his actual decision was to become the world's guardian, but it pretty much amounted to the same thing.

Ok gang, DR has posted his bio, and the next thing i suggest we do is post our own, and then we need to decide on a name for our small team.

Name: Danella (Dani) O'Hare
Secret Identity: Metamistress
Age: 22
Powers: Dani is a shapeshifter. She can be anyone and any animal she wants. This is a very handy technique when combined with her ablity to mimick voices. Another ability is that she is very in tune with her mind and people around her and is therefore a very sensitive empath.

Weaknesses: Being an empath she can sense how people are feeling and thus predict how they will act but with very very strong feelings she can become weakened or even begin to feel that emotion as her own thus affecting her own ability to fight. If she is surrounded by too many people all with different emotions she can become quite distracted because all of the feelings mixing inside of her can cause confusion and even pain.

Appearance: She has, normally, short hair that is cut just above her shoulders and if varying lengths and colors. There is red, white, and brown all in her hair and the tips are all black. She loves her hair but from time to time changes the color just to mix it up a bit. She is an athletic young woman but then again that changes with her mood and her shapeshifting.

Personality: She's an all around nice girl that believe deeply in karma and thinks that all things are equal. Dani fights hard for justice and peace and things that she reall believes in. Sometimes she can seem very naive and not terribly brilliant. She is usually very in control of her temper. But when she does get angry watch out.

History: Dani grew up pretty normal up until the age of nine... That was when she first started the shifting. To her mother's horror the little girl changed her color to a very pretty blue color from it's perferctly nice blonde. Of course she kept it like that for two weeks loving the attention she got from it and really not knowing how she had done so in the first place. But then her family was approached by a woman boasting that she could help Dani control her powers. She was sent to this school and she trained up until she was seventeen years old. She had come to learn that the school was using it's students to take over the world.

Of course the young mutant couldn't be a part of that and fled. She feels horrible for running away and while she can't remember how to get back t that school and help the other students she does know that she will fight against all that would make this world unsafe for anyone.

WarCrowe has 2 large fly Wings Protruding from his back, which he can grow at will.
The fingers on WarCrowes right hand can become Adamantium claws.
With his left hand, WarCrowe Can harness Electricity.
WarCrowe is Invulnerable.
Weakness
Matt is very vulnerable to Psychic attacks, and cannot survive in Oxygen deprived environments.
History
Born the son of a Mutant and a Human, Matt’s Mutant Mother died during childbirth. His father, an Inventor, helped Matt train his powers and helped designed his current costume.
When his father died, when Matt was 15, Matt, took his Costume, and went off in search of villains to stop. Unfortunately he was originally mistaken for a villain during his first outing, and has being in a juvenile prison since. Matt is now out of prison and travelled to America, looking for better heroes to work with. Since then Matt has trained religiously with his Mother’s sister, the Heroine known as wasp, and has gradually begun to reclaim his reputation.
Costume
A Green and Black bodysuit, which is heat resistant, has slots for his wings to come out of, and as invulnerable as Matt Himself. He has Black Boots. His Gloves are both Fingerless and black. He wears a pair of Green Tinted Goggles in a Back rubber, which he wears when flying, the rest of the time they stay firmly on his forehead.
Appearance
Matt, is a young well-toned Caucasian, with black hair, and green eyes. He is about 5 foot 8 tall.

hmm...Wyldfire would be a good choice, but i'm not so sure she'd want to join another thread at the moment. she's in a lot as is. Masume would probably join, but i haven't seen her on the forum in a while. same with White Jade....Kuu might be interested, but she's got a lot on her plate at the moment not related to the forum. that, and i think she's tiring of Lit.
