I'm sorry, I am editing this post down to this. I had no business unloading like that on everyone here and the wee hours of the morning will do some strange things to you. Thanks to those of you who responded, it means alot. Those of you who didn't see... you probably don't want to know.

I won't tell you to shut up, sorry. I will tell you it is good to purge yourself like that. Helps sort through the emotions and detail what has happened and where. Now the thing is.
You see where you need to go? Not back with your Dad, you are right about that.
Not back to a religion you no longer hold faith in, you are right about that.

You need to go to the nearest employment bureau, today. Get going on a job. Then get yourself in school. If possible this coming semester.

You know that. Said so yourself. But you have slumped into a rut and clawing your way out can be hard. A swift kick in the pants can help. But again, I cannot help yo there.
So.. leaning over the edge of the rut and reaching my hand in. Here... let's get showered, shaved and get going.

Reading what you have written , makes me wonder if you should broaden your horizons more ......why not leave the United States, and travel a bit , you dont need much money for back packing , and picking up work as you travel , England is very lovely , and neednt be too expensive to stay in if you stay in youth hostels, the most expensive part would be the flying , but once you are in europe you can ferry (boat), across to France , and back pack around the contient of Europe.

A lot of my own sons friends , have done this , and they have found it very worth while , dont give up on this idea, please think about it ....
