Mods: sorry if this is the wrong place for this type of post.. but I just wonder if this will keep others from posting during work hours as well... please relocate if you feel it necessary!

I can see a lot of people being very reluctant to post now........ lucky it doesn't affect me directly but I know I would be very wary!

Employers are always watching. Those IT guys (and gals) can pull every website (and web page) that you go to at work. They have reports that track how many and what type of sites that you go to. The problem for them is sorting through the material as it is very time intensive. Once they flag your account, possible for content or volume, they can then focus their efforts and where you have been and why.

Per the article if you are a high flyer or a management type they'd give you a coaching session or a warning. Otherwise they discipline you and fire you. If they like you're postings they may start smiling at you in the hallways..... Good luck.....

Grateful for being a student, no monitoring on this network (well, not for general smut sites anyway).

I talk to a lot of gals on here who are often at work when they do so and I always wondered, aren't they worried they'll get caught? I'd imagine their employers wouldn't be too pleased to find out they'd been trading kinky IMs on company time. I suppose the internet use policy probably varies from company to company but I still imagine the penalty would be serious (for lower-level employees anyway).
