OOC Casting Call: Voltron Revisited

Im toying with the idea of making a Voltron thread. If interested please post here or PM me. I'll need at least 5 other people to join up.

The Original Characters were:

Planet Arus:
Princess Allura - Daughter of Alfor The Generous, The dead King of Planet Arus.

Coran - The Castle Administrator ( He oversaw the workings of the entire castle)

Nanny - Maid / Caregiver to the Princess

Kieth, Lance, Hunk, Pidge, & Sven - Young Pilots who crashlanded on Planet Arus and after investigating the legend of voltron and the lions soon find themselves piloting the lions and defending Planet Arus against the many attacks of Lotor and his Robeasts.

Planet Doom:

King Zarkon - Evil king of Planet Doom, and one of the highest people in the Drule (Drool) Empire. His greatest desire is to conquer Planet Arus and take Voltron for use in his evil conquests.

Prince Lotor - Son of Zarkon, and consequently the prince of Planet Doom. His one fervent desire is to take Princess Allura and make her his bride. Second on his list of Evil things to accomplish is the destruction of Voltron. Third on his evil list of things to accomplish is usurping the throne and becoming King of Planet Doom.

Witch Haggar - Witch of vast power. It is usually through her magic that Prince Lotor retrieves his Robeasts. She is able to disguise herself in many different ways.

In the original cartoon, Sven was badly injured and sent to a neighboring planet to be nursed and thus Princess Allura takes over for him and pilots the blue lion. On a side note, Sven returnes in the last few episodes to help the Voltron Force defeat Planet Doom.

Im hoping that, if people decide to join the thread, that we can replace the pilot characters with original ones and have some more female characters. However, if you liked a original character from the cartoon please take him/her. Im going to fill at least one of the Voltron lions and will pick up whatever characters need filling to help the story progress.

Im also going to allow those who join pick which lion they want to take. Here is the list and what bodypart they make when they combined to form Voltron.

Black - Body and head
Red - Right arm
Green - Left arm
Blue - Right leg
Yellow - Left leg

Hopefully people will join this cause I believe it will be very very fun to play. While Im waiting for people to join Im going to be digging up what other information on Voltron I can so we can play this true to the story/cartoon. If you remember anything please PM me what you remember.

I like the setting I am just not sure how you would run it.....I remember a fun world with space fighters, sword fights, robots, and a galaxy at war.

Jagged- You are thinking of the Car Voltron I believe. I personally didnt like that one though I cant remember why.

Yeah isnt that the truth. Ive found on literotica, the Storyline Threads with the least amout of thought put into them tend to survive longer that the ones that have a great backstory or great plotline.

Oh well what can you do. Well since people do not like this Idea perhaps I could join someone elses SL. Anyone need a good Rper?

There was a chick....a princess actually and a pilot. Could rework the story anyway we want really. Had a lot of fun stuff...fighting aliens, martial arts, sword fights, one adventure I even remember undead.

Alright, looks like bumping the thread up in the pages helped get us a few more Players.

OK, for those that are interested, we need to fill in the blanks. If you want to play two characters (One evil / one good) that would be great and we could use the help.

I'll repost who we NEED to fill for the thread in italics, the other characters will be normal. Feel free to substitute a original for a established character.

Grab a character and, if you are a pilot, pick a lion. I'll choose from what is left after everyone else.

Alright doesnt seem like people are interested so this will be the last time I'll bump this. If it dies again I'll let it go...

Also if you would like I can move this thread to the SRP in case youd like the pilots to be able to have more adult situations

i think this one's dying because there's not much that can be done with it...after all, they made a sequel series in 3d, not much else ground to cover

Not nessessarily.
Usually a team like Voltron wouldn't have a complete cast change. The popular ones would stay, the "huh, nah he's a goob" ones would go.

Im willing to bend the storyline however we want to do it. We could do a prequil to all of the Voltrons and have it happen prior to Princess Alura's birth or we could have it in an alternate universe.

In truth there is only a few things that has to remain the same at least for this thread...

1) There has to be the five lions - I could care less who pilots them or what color they are. I just absolutely hated the Space ship/ Car Voltron.

2) They form Voltron and Voltron defends the planet.

That is the only thing that needs to remain the same. When where why how and what are moldable for the thread. In truth Im more fond of swords and sorcery than ships and lasers.

Hair: Deep red with black highlights
Eyes: Intense blue-green, change depending on mood
Build: Slender with muscles and hips/ass that are well fleshed

From the Royal Order of Knights, A'jori Ryukaze, has been selected as her planet's member of the Voltron team. The Blue Lion itself woke to her call the first time, leaving its "den" to seek her out before she was even officially named its master/weilder.
The youngest child in a family known for its strong male warriors and nimble female rogues, A'jori is a mix of the two diciplines, with skills befitting a galactic pirate or a noble knight, though she has sworn no oaths at this time.
