well, i was going to, but everyone sort of split up anyways x.x which means the tour will have to wait

most of the species involved are naturally curious, and would more than likely prefer exploration to a guided tour anyways, so i guess it's not that important to do so

okay, at some point today or tomorrow i'll be working on The City (i dunno if i'll call it that, but that'll be the thread for the city). The Manor will be required reading for anyone participating in The City, and these characters are welcome to post in the new thread as well as this one for events such as going to town.

some ground rules regarding Therianthropolis.

first, when you leave the Manor and head to town, you switch over to that thread. when you come back, you switch back to this one

second, we'll need some new characters for the other one. anyone interested, PM me the character info first, so i can approve it (this is important because of the nature of the second thread)

third, wait until i've given you the okay to post the bio in here, and then make an intro post....however, if you're working with another character in the thread (such as if another character is your boss/coworker), discuss how you want it to start, and then whoever gets to go first posts first.

time to start off the bios for Therianthropolis

Name: Merv Servignio
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Species: Ursine (Kodiak Bear, specifically)
Bio: Merv is a longtime resident of the town. In fact, he was born in the woods north of it, less than a mile from The Manor. He still has an old cabin out there, but he makes his residence above the sole tavern in town, which he purchased from the previous owner, an old man claiming to be a werewolf. Whether or not the man was telling the truth, Merv fixed up the place, and when town started to be expanded, he saw opportunity. Immediately, a sign went up outside, reading "We cater to both predator and prey", meaning the tavern was a place where everyone could go to regardless of dietary or species differences. He's mostly seen the usual construction workers since the remodelling of the town began, but occasionally the old salts came back to check in with him (mainly to hear his stories of Black Wolf John, whom the tavern is named after. As far as personality, Merv is a very jovial individual, though when he gets serious, be warned. He fights like a bear, and you wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one of HIS hugs.
Appearance: dark brown hair, brown fur. Merv's big...he dwarfs his customers, with only a couple of exceptions. standing almost nine feet tall, and weighing in at 1200 pounds of powerful muscle, Merv is a foe to be reckoned with, or better yet, avoided. He has brown eyes, and usually sports hand-knit sweaters (made by his only living relative, his neice), and denim pants. he rarely wears shoes, as he has thick padded feet to protect him from most things he encounters, though he does don protective footgear in case of a broken window.
Occupation: Bartender/Owner

Age: 21
Gender: Female
Species: White Tiger
Bio: She's not really shy but has a tendency of being quiet simply because she is usually working so hard on her school work and interning at the hospital. Her dream is to be a doctor and she is getting closer and closer to that dream. She graduated when she was a junior in highschool so she's been in college since she was seventeen years old. She's getting closer and closer to her goal of becoming a doctor.
Appearance: Zephyr
Occupation: Intern at the Hospital

To be used in the Therianthropolis thread.... maybe visit up at the Manor if she meets any of the characters that live there.

Age: 32
Gender: Female
Species: Rabbit
Bio: Ginger was one of the first people to meet Sebastian and make sure that he was welcomed into the town when he stumbled across him half dead. It was her idea to get the town up and running and to perform this experiment so that everyone could see that Zoans were nothing to be afraid of despite the fact that they are so different.
Appearance: Ginger Is usually seen in a crisp neat business suit...
Occupation: Mayor of the City... kind of....

Only in the most technical of senses Murray belongs there, he'll likely spend most of his time in his shop, and I'll be spending most of my time at work. Sorry people new job and all. 11 hour workdays and 2 hour travels. Not fun.
