Okay. This takes place after the book or the Kenneth Branagh movie, not the old Boris Karlov (Karloff?) movie. The monster and Frankenstien fall into the icy waters, presumably to perrish. In this account, both have survived, though the doctor is greatly injured, at first anyway. The monster leaves the arctic, heading back for Europe. Frankenstien finds his way back onto the vessel where he tells his story in the novel, where he regains his strength.
News of what Frankenstien has done has spread across the countryside, causing fear and panic. But it also inspires others, like-minded in terms of his original exploits, who want to create life as well. The result has led to a breakout of poor experiments creating half-alive zombies of their efforts. Zombies which just happen to consume human flesh and show no signs of dieing regardless of what tactics are used against them. Their victims also return to life to consume flesh.
We can start this near the beginning, when the zombieism is just starting to spread, or later, after people are already frightened into their houses for the nights, and most of the day.
Anyone interested?
