OOC: Casting Call " Eternal Darkness "

The thread takes place in a small city. A gate has just been opened somewhere in the city through which all kinds of creatures have the opportuity to reach it. As time passes by the gate will be getting more and more powerfull until at last it will completely carry the city to another dimension ruled by the creatures that now roam its streets, with no hope of return for its citizens.

Ok, that is the main idea for the thread, I hope it is appealing enough for players to join. The characters that can be taken can be either the creatures that are invading the city ( Demons, Vampires, Werewolves, Ghosts, etc... ), human citizens of the city, or Hunters that come to investigate or terminate with the menace.

So, post your characters, if everything goes well I will start the thread next week. Ideas for the thread are also welcome.

Good to see someone showed interest in the thread, welcome and thanks papillon and Steiner. We need more charcters to gt this thread going though. Remember all kinds of creatures are allowed, some hunters, wizards, etc trying to destroy the gate and various creatures roaming the city are also needed.

Race: Demon ( Succubus )

Xi´leena was sent to the city to make sure the gate is not found by any curious human, or more important, by someone tryng to destroy it. She relies on her powers to charm and control her victims rather than just killing them she likes to have fun with them. She also has the ability to transform into a human woman por a limited period of time ( she chooses her appearence ).

His only friend in the world is Jim. Jim is something of a freak, he likes anything and everything, and has lately been caught up in the whole occult thing. Derek thinks (hopes) that it'll just be a phaze.
Lately though, his friend has been acting so strange...

Women fascinated Stolace so much that he was unable to keep his concentration to further his studies. When the gate opened his father was tolerant to the newcomers being the lover of a vampiress, until the gate seemed to be taking over the world they knew.

In an attempt to close the gate Stolace's father was destroyed by a backlash of magic from the gate. Stolace is now without a master and still as horny as always whenever an attractive female of almost any race, creed, religion, or humanoid form is near.

Twenty-two, college grad in transition between school and beginning a new job as a journalist. Landed his first job with the "Times" in this small city, to which he just recently relocated.

He is almost tall (6’), slender, moderate good looks, blue-gray eyes with short brown hair. His usual attire consists of khaki’s, Polo or oxford shirt- with no tie and a jacket. He does a lot of walking and running around chasing story ideas so he wears sneakers for comfort, he is naturally curious, talkative, friendly and a born snoop.

Name: Capt. James Thompson
Race: Human
Age: 36
Physical: 6' 2" 205lb Blonde hair (cut high and tight of course) green eyes.

In these troubled times, Washington is quick to respond to any situation that may have the smell of terrorism about it. Thompson leads a squad of three Black Ops specialists. Their job is to find the source of the disturbance and, if possible, terminate with extreme prejudice. If this is not feasible, they are to make contact with city government and communicate the situation to Washington.

Thompson himself has all the usual gifts of the Special Forces soldier: sharpshooter, demolitions, squad level tactics, etc. He is also fluent in Russian and Arabic. He holds his masters in history from Columbia. In spite of his accomplishments, he is not without demons of his own. Too many special operations in top secrecy and too many friends killed under his command have made him quixotic. While his bravery is not questionable, his judgment is.

This looks like fun so I’ll give it a try if no one objects. White Queen if you don’t mined I’ll be a demon sent to help Xi´leena keep the gate open. Evil grin

Name: Has had many but for the moment his known as Shadow
Race: Demon
Looks: Stands 7 feet tall wais 250 ponds making him thin but don’t let that fool you for his much stronger then you would think. He’s the culler of the night and shadows making him hard to see when not knowing what you looking for. His eyes have a demonic flame burning deep in them the flames grow with his anger. When you can make out his hair you can see that it’s long silky.
Powers: His a shadow demon witch means he can slip in and out of shadows at will no mater how small the shadow is. He uses them like doors stepping in one and appearing almost instantly out of another.


He was sent to help Xi´leena guard the gate and to kill any that are amoun to her charms. He’s quite speaking only when necessary and tends to let his actions speak for them selves.

Appearing to be half-Irish and half-Japanese, she also appears weak and frail. She is a studnet in the city newly out of high school and is trying to find her way around the city. She works at a bookshop in the city, and is currently struggling to pay for her first year of university. She lives down the hall from Derrin in the building where Dreama and Derrin live, a fairly quiet soul that not many notice, despite her exotic looks.

Hee hee, thought I might try this out. Since there are only a couple females though, I thought of a semi-Ranma character. This char's lightly based on one from a completely unrelated story, personality wise, but is in a very different situation.

When you have a minor genius, you have a minor insanity.

Or so Devin has convinced himself.

Devin may or may not be slightly bipolar, as he always tends to have a running conversation between his virtuous side and the side that fills him with self-doubt, constantly criticizing whatever he does and rendering him paralyzed. Constantly introspective, Devin's views are confused and unacceptable by the standards of most his age.

Devin will read anything he can get his hands on and more. Handsome in a boyish manner, he has never been very masculine but always seems to strike a balance between male and female. In some cases, he seems to embody the proverbial Yin and Yang--and his mind is their battleground.

The portal was the best thing that ever happened to Devin.

When he came in contact with the aura of the portal, while visiting the city on a school trip, it activated something within Devin, summoning his own powerful aura from deep within him. Now suddenly an untrained Chi Wizard, Devin must find out what his purpose is and whether or not the portal should be stopped--and how this world connects to our own.

Coincedentally, the combining of his seperated spiritual forces combined him physically as well. And now, he's a girl. And a very attractive one, as well. How confusing for a poor young man--er, lady.

With only her knowledge of martial arts and her natural wiles, wisdom, and ingenuity, Devin must find a weapon, some allies... and some new clothes. These shirts just won't cut it anymore.
