ok since the first time i tried this i was a newbie here im gona try and slap this thread up again.
Ok the story is a lil more revamped wiht more info.(and also the races may have different names,i cant remember one of themX_X)
ok the planet is unamed so far,since so many races keep changing it.It has 4 different climates.Jungle,The ice caps,the Desert,and a temperate zone.
the thread will start in teh Veshnian Desert,and i may make more threads for the otehr areas or somethin.
The Veshnian desert is pretty big,and spans the planets single continent across most of its middle,with two small strips of impassabel jungle on either edge.It is the main home of the Veshna,which are a type of tall,slim grey,brown or green colored,warm-blooded reptilian humanoids.They tend to be long lombed and neck,and can run on all four limbs.There tails are prehensile and the larger,"warrior" caste of their society have small grown spikes that dig and break off,styaing in their enemies.
Their level of technology is sword and shield type,with teh use of small foldable desert bows.They wear none or little clothing,their skin protecting them from the heat and there eyes shielded by layers of eyelids(like a snakes)that have varying degrees of thickness(the final one is just there eyelids)
They tend to be semi-nomadic,with designated trading spots.They have a mutitude of castes then are deterined by how they are born.this in no way limits them to their caste,though it can be confusing to outsiders how it all works out right.
There religion includes the Veshna-ai-Shen,which supposedly created the Veshna to live in the Desert.Their main sourc eof arcane spells are the Shamans,a special caste that The Veshna seem hesitant to talk about.
The second race is the Humans.They are well...Humans(duhX_X)
they have a multitude of religions and governments.
Living a tthe southern temperate zone they have become overpopulated in times of peace,and have started to spread into teh Desert,which actually contains ready enough water and fertile soil,it is just to hot for most trees and plantable crops(its a lil like a mix of the savahna and a Desert mixed)at first they only covered the very outskirt sof the Desert but have since begun Recent Tensions agains thte Veshna has almsot escalate dto outright fighting.There main arcane users are the society of Wizards and Sourcerers,who use their power as a politicala nd money gaining endevor
The third race is the aviana-Enth.These are the msot advanced,having simple one shot firearms.They are avians and build cities that float over teh Desert,using its heated updrafts to stay airborne.Vast flaoting gardens of wonder and beauty gracefulyl drift on the wind throught the Desert,wandering aimlessly.THough they are more advanced technology wise they are dramatically less in number,as they live longer,but give birth less then the other two races.There main arcane powers are the weather witches,female avians who can control weather and keep their homes afloat when the need arises.
